i live locally and often have come for dinner with my mum and lunch with friends and only onces i was not impressed by the size and taste of the calamari. But apart from that always love this place. just got a take away pizza and it was basically thin pizza dough thats great and tom sauce. the toppings were a joke half a piece of parma ham smidge of cheese one piece of rocket. Really never again. i know how italian pizzas are meant to tastes as holidayed year after year in Tuscany i know inflation and all that but will not be going back sadly again to eat.

Really gutted over our experience this evening. We were out for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We waited nearly 2 hours for our starters. We ended up leaving before the mains were served. So disappointed ?

Poor quality breakfast, the bread was so hard when I cut it, it broke off and flew across the room ? the eggs were overdone and had huge peppercorn chunks in them and it was small and overpriced. Service not particularly welcoming... Been a few times here to give it a chance and it's always the same .

We come to Cicchetti in Radyr very often as we live locally, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing ? fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff are absolutely spot on: friendly, quick, and always make us feel welcome. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We?re lucky to have such a fantastic place right on our doorstep!

Served by a lovely waiter but did he have to chew gum?
Out of 6 mains, 2 of us thought ours was salty. Wine was overpriced for a straightforward Italian restaurant. Quite disappointed .

A friend of ours, Antonio is the head chef there and we thought to go and visit him. It's about 20 minutes away from Cardiff city centre in Radyr. We were greeted by Chelsie, who served us most of the time we were there. Very polite, professional and courteous with all of the guests whether they came to take away or dining in. It's very much of a local restaurant and bar, where you know all the locals by name. Food was amazing and if we're in Cardiff again, will make sure to visit. ??

Visited here on a little train trip from Aberdare. 10min walk from the station . Beautiful authentic Italian
