This hotel is minutes away from Cardiff Central station. All the main city centre sites are nearby. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, although there is a branch of Browns on the ground floor of the hotel itself.Great for a shopping weekend in Cardiff or if you are seeing a match at the Principality Stadium.

Large beds even when ordering a reservation with 2 people, room service is quality, location is perfect for families coming into Cardiff for the Disney on Ice shows as it is a mere 5 minute walk, if that. And the location of the hotel is perfect for nights on the town as well as a day on the town, being 16 minutes form the National Museum as well as 5 minutes from the city museum is perfect for expanding and seeing knowledge from the past. Overall quality stay, and it ain't even over yet!!!Rooms: Quality beds and roomingNearby activities: Bars, Museums, Castles, ShopsWalkability: Everything is 20> walking distanceFood & drinks: Plenty of variety

Brilliant location, very pleasant staff and a spotless room. The only gripe was the air-handling system for the room was quite noisy, even when the heating/AC fan was set to off. Browns Bar downstairs is lovely and good car park underneath hotel.

The hotel location was nice - right in front of the Main Street. The location of car park was easy to access as well (just the car park was not really clean). The room was big but aged - with lots of things requiring an immediate maintenance (the faucet was malfunctioning and the temperature control of the shower bud was not sensitive). The gym was nice and the breakfast was decent. The staff was very nice though - much appreciated.

I came for one night and paid a high price, but there is not even a slipper in the room, not even the most basic things like toothpaste or cotton wool, the best part is the location, the beds were clean, the room lighting failed, I stayed in Marriott in another country, but it was not so uncomfortable, I was just surprised.

This was an incredible stay for a graduation treat. Catrianna welcomed us to the hotel checking us in and had a lovely chat with her when we saw her the next day. Extremely good customer service. We were lucky enough to be upgraded rooms! Really nice, bed was comfy, bathroom was a good size and the mobile key (for app members) was a cool addition. Breakfast was also really nice and run well by the breakfast manager. We had a really nice meal at the Browns restaurant on the Saturday despite a miscommunication however, the staff were incredible and we sorted it out! Alex made us cocktails from the bar which were the best we?d had. Its location is perfect and the city is busy at night which personally, I love. We will definitely come again (and hopefully be less hassle at dinner). Thank you everyone who made our stay.

The hotel main glass doors are really smudged and DNAd up which doesn't give a good impression. We only went to browns which was ok but really hot and stuffy. Even though the ceiling was littered with air vents the staff said they couldn't do anything about it because they were "seasonal" so we had to sweat it out.
