Food is not bad, normal cafe food, and the drinks too. But I?ve given it this rating because of our personal experience here, and the store manager on shift today (20th July) was just rude and possibly racist.
It was around 12:40pm and I ordered a cappuccino, everything was fine. I took some chocolates from the side and paid for those, but the thing to note is that the prices are somewhat small and on the side rather than in big view, so they just look like free chocolates if you?re not tall enough (it was the golden ones that are at the end) my younger sister, who didn?t know this, took one thinking it was free because it?s nearer to the end and not where the other pastries and foodstuffs are. The man who served me came out and said sternly my sister ?stole? one chocolate and oddly said that he knew we came here all the time, even though we had never been there, but nonetheless we quickly apologised and paid 50p for what she took and got some orange juice as well. He came back, gave us the orange juice with change, told me to not do it again, I said alright and then he said it again (I assume he didn?t hear me but it was said in a rude tone anyway) and I said yes I got it, then he went back in and my mother asked for some tissues and he said again that my sister stole and it will be the last time, my mother was understandably angry at him because he?d repeated this atleast 4 times, and at that point my sister who just made an honest mistake was upset because she thought she was in trouble, anyways then he came to my sister and I and told us directly we were banned from cafe Nero and black listed from the place, so then we left.
The whole scenario was just bizarre and unprofessional. It was a mistake, she apologised for the misunderstanding , we paid and sorted it out, so what happened after should not have happened and we are extremely unhappy with the service here.

A lovely, relaxing Nero café to unwind after a shopping trip. I tried the latte and the chai latte, both were excellent. Perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a great drink.

Inside st Davids. I do like Nero's coffee. Ok atmosphere and staff. There is an outside in centre seating area, watch people going about their lives and shopping. I usually have data connection problems. You have to register with Nero's network and get marketing messages or if you use your own service then there is a low signal issue

Great outlet with friendly, helpful staff. Although the product is the same as most of the other outlets, the great attitude of the staff makes for a great welcome.
Vegetarian options: Very tasty vegan sausage roll.

Staff great but not the best location of all the Nero's I have been in. Cheese and Pickle sandwich was awful and could not eat it but that maybe just me.

Absolutely love coming here for a cuppa when shop, so homily staff are allways friendly and polite and the atmosphere is super relaxed with relaxing music . Can't beat it nice and peaceful ?
