Popped in today, appreciate it was a bank holiday, but picked up 3 items and waited at the till at the rear near pharmacy. Pharmacy was busy with queue, but myself and another lady were just waiting to pay. After 10-15 mins I started to think I must be invisible. There was a female member of staff sticking up Yardley perfumes that nobody buys any more, just behind the till. She didn?t so much as look at us, nor direct us anywhere else.
I bet security guard gets busy, because I can see people getting fed up and just walking out.
Finally I saw a (possibly Polish?) slightly more cheerful member of staff open the till near the door, so I rushed over to pay her and finally get out.
I would?ve gone to Superdrug next door if they had what I needed- unfortunately, they didn?t!
There was a young lad there last time I went, who was helpful, but honestly. Just get more staff? Big company like Boots?? Will try to avoid this branch at all costs. Useless.

Visited the Albany Road pharmacy today 20/11/2024 and met with a po faced staff member. I handed her my prescription and ask was the item in stock, abruptly be told if we have it. It will be ready in an hour I?ll be able to tell you then. Try going next to Superdrug it maybe be ready in there sooner, this I did great service Boots.

Today,Oct 5th, at around 4pm I stood in a queue, with a gentleman and 2 elderly ladies, at the pharmacy till...there were 4 members of staff at the other end of the counter, dealing with 1 customer....we stood for at least 10 to 12 mins with no acknowledgement. This is way beyond good customer care. I find this happens a lot at the pharmacy till. I know they're busy, but I feel at least one member of staff should have at least acknowledged us....the man and I left and went Super drug next door.

Terrible customer service at around 30 Jun 2024 11am for pharmacy counter (lady). Not helpful and reject all customer requests. Even non prescription item reject to show me where to get. Hope your higher supervisor team see this.

Went to get baby milk from this branch. Said online it was in stock. Staff member refused to check stock saying if it?s not on the shelf then they don?t have it. Then changed her tune and said they were putting deliveries away- come back tomorrow. Clearly obvious she didn?t want to look or make any effort to locate the milk when online this branch showed as having stock. No use telling me to come back tomorrow when I have no baby milk because you can?t be bothered to go check. Will never go back again. Horrific customer services.

I like boots on Albany road. As a brand I like their products of cucumber and rose range..the Albany road outlet is not very big but still it has a good collection of all the products.

Despite what I read in other reviews I must admit I have found the staff helpful. However, I would question the new system they are operating where one cannot pick up or wait for their prescription to be ready on the same day. You have to go back the next day after 3pm. Wouldn?t that cause a long queue if everyone went there at 3 pm. Also it is not fair on those who drop their prescriptions in the morning rather than just before 6 pm before closing time.

Don't bother visiting here. There are many other pharmacies nearby with friendly staff and a nice environment. The pharmacists and technicians here seem unhappy and claim they're always busy, but I think it's because they're not very competent. From what I've read in the comments, they often make mistakes with prescriptions and sometimes they just don't want to serve customers. Honestly, it might be best if Boots closed this branch."
