Always loved boots but I was harassed by a security guard yesterday on 17/8/2025when I was printing pictures asking me if I am Veronica ..before talking to me he had been stalking me...this is scary boots please look into it as I'm now traumatised....

Zara was so helpful in the IT makeup section. She helped color match me for some concealer. Super patient and knowledgeable! Made it a great experience.

The largest Boots in Cardiff, so they have everything! The only downside is that it can sometimes be difficult to find what you are looking for. I went for cold and flu relief medicines and there was a good offering at reasonable prices.

Bad customer service experience at the perfume section from an older member of staff

Today, I had a fantastic experience at the Boots store on Queen Street at the L?Oréal makeup counter. The L?Oréal sales representative was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to help me choose all of my makeup products and even applied some tester products, explaining each step clearly and professionally.
Although I didn?t catch her name, I truly appreciated her excellent service. She made the whole experience easy, enjoyable, and personal.

Was accused of stealing stuff which I clearly paid for. After leaving the self checkout, a black, tall and slim security guard chased me to the exit and said I was seen putting an item in my bag. Of course I placed the items I bought in my bag! Was I supposed to carry everything around with my bare hands??
He demanded to see the receipt, which I showed to him. He took a good 10 seconds just to stare at my receipt, which btw, only had 1 item which I bought. Then he further didn?t believe me and asked to view the contents of my bag, to which I had to show him. That was completely unnecessary and an invasion of privacy. Had I been white and not Asian, this would?ve never happened.
Please ensure your security guards that you hire are not racist. Tq.

The store offers a wide range of products; however, the beauty selection feels limited due to the large booths occupied by major luxury brands. To improve variety and accessibility, the store could consider downsizing these booths or relocating the electronics section upstairs to create more space for other beauty offerings.

Massive store. Hard to find things. Not many staff on floor to get help, but they are nice. Forced to use self serve tills which are awful. Its frustrating in there. Also gets very hot. I avoid it for that very reason of the self serve tills and go to the little boots if I need to on the corner opposite John Lewis

A very large Boots store in the heart of Cardiff, with an amazing variety of stock to shop from. Recommended if looking for gifts.
The downside, security guards follow you and stand right next to you while you're trying to look around for products, very intimidating for customers that are genuinely shipping(I was with my wife and teen kids today, purchased food and left). Im sure the store manager and company don't want to create such a environment where paying customers are felt like that, therefore i'd appreciate it if such behaviour by security can be looked into.

I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Anastazia at the Clinique section in Boots, and I couldn?t be more grateful for her help! From the moment I walked up, she greeted me with a warm and genuine smile that instantly made me feel welcome. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about all the Clinique products, but she also took the time to listen to my skin type and needs and offered personalised recommendations tailored to my needs.
Anastazia was patient, kind, and made the entire shopping experience feel effortless. She didn?t just try to sell me products; she truly cared about making sure I was satisfied with my choices. I left with products that I know will work perfectly for me.
It?s not every day that you encounter someone so passionate about their job and genuinely interested in helping others. Anastazia made my visit to Boots memorable, and I will definitely be returning! Her customer service was exceptional, and I can?t recommend her enough. Thank you, Anastazia!

Nasty woman in there wouldn?t serve me paracetamol despite very clearly being of age, all I wanted was paracetamol as I live with chronic pain and health issues and she said no when it?s a 16 plus product, everywhere else I go serves me with no ID for pain killers, and the next shop I went in didn?t ID me either

Estée Lauder - Horrific Experience ? Burned My Skin!
If I could give this product 0 stars, I would! My previous primer from Estée Lauder was discontinued, therefore the Estée Lauder representative in St David?s - Boots (Cardiff) recommended the Double Wear Smooth & Blur Primer as a replacement, assuring me that it was very similar and suitable for all skin types. Unfortunately, that couldn?t have been further from the truth.
After applying it, my skin burned immediately, and over the next few days, it became extremely dry, irritated, and unhealthy. My skin is not sensitive?I have dry combination skin, and I?ve never had a reaction like this to any primer or any other makeup products before. The damage was so severe that I now have to seek help from a dermatologist to repair my skin!
I feel completely misled by Estée Lauder?s recommendation, and I deeply regret trusting this product, in fact I feel that I will never buy any of their products again.
I would never recommend this primer to anyone, stay far away!
