We were a group of 20 cyclists who came in for a ploughman's lunch, which we had booked in advance, the food was excellent, and plenty of it, and good value for money. The Landlord and Landlady were most welcoming and really made us feel at home and we cannot recommend it highly enough, and would certainly visit again if we are ever in the area.

Although the pub was open there was sadly no food available due to staff holiday. The message you learn with pubs these days is to not rely on them for an evening meal. It is a troubled industry.

Visit with two friends whilst we were camping locally. On both occasions we were made very welcome with helpful Bar & Restaurant Staff. Nothing too much trouble. Extremely generous food portions, hot & very tasty! Good thing we were advised to book as the place can get very busy. With service like this it was no wonder. Highly recommended. Wil most certainly call again.

The communication prior to our visit was great. We were a party of 12 and were asked to pre-order our food prior to our evening out, which was no trouble at all. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were plentiful and delicious! We will definitely be going again!

This certainly is an excellent pub with fantastic food. Cathy, Vicky and George always make you welcome. Look out for the Friday curry nights and Lunch on a Sunday?? you won?t be disappointed!

My partner and I were given this masterclass as a Virgin experience. We had to book via Virgin which was problematic but the master class itself was fascinating. Carlo has a huge knowledge of brewing and we had samples of 8 different beers. It was fun guessing the different flavours and learning how they are made on site. At the end we could choose a free pint of our favourite beer and a burger which was delicious. Whisky and gin tasting classes are also available. I would definitely recommend one as an unusual gift but would suggest booking directly with Brewhouse & Kitchen rather than Virgin. Thank you Carlo for a fun evening

Very annoyed. During our last visit to the Brewhouse all our drinks were cleared off the table whilst we were hitting the dance floor. I could have understood if it was not obvious that we were still in the establishment. Ie coats, scarves etc were still on the chairs etc. After speaking to the bar staff and the the bouncers we were requested to leave. How many times has this happened I wonder. However also a bit proud of being chucked out of a pub at the age of 54. I just get the feeling that it is a bit of a scam that the establishment is doing.

The two door men are intimidating and rude physically abusive. Spoke to the female management who was completely empathetic. The bar staff are all lovely the music was fine. For the above reason as a female I didn't feel safe .

We actually won a meal for two in a local raffle, booked up for Sunday lunch, the owners were very helpful during the booking process. Arrived for the meal and all I can say was we could not fault it at all, from the service to the food and such friendly owners too. We will definitely return soon. I had roast beef and my wife had the Pork, outstanding. If you are in the area give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic welcome, food all home cooked and bloody delicious! French onion soup for starters with a gorgeous cheese crouton, stunning! Chicken in the pie literally melted in your mouth, homemade chips...Best I've had in a LONG time! Will definitely be returning when back in this area!!!

was here with my friend last night we both had one amazing time great band enjoyed singing along to all the classics they were playing. love the mixture of all the diffrent bands they have in this venue looking forward to the next visit.
