I am absolutely thrilled with the service received by this garage. I rang yesterday afternoon very concerned as none of my windows would go back up . I explained the problem to Tony, who said bring it straight in, delighted to have the car back next day all in working order. Superb service , a big thank you to Tony and his boys. Me and my family have been using this garage since they were based at the bottom of Newport Rd, Cardiff in the 90's. They specialise in BMW's, and fixed my string of 3 Series E30's, E36 & E46, 5 Series E34 and 7 Series E32, but work on many other prestigious marques as well. I have had work carried out on my 2010 Mk2 Porsche Cayenne, and my dad has had them work on his Mercedes W164 ML 320CDI. Always a great service, and I would not trust anyone else with my car's. Tony and Chris are gents and always a pleasure to deal with.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE; Not specialists in BMW. I took my car to the garage with a thumping sound when slowing down, I was told the problem was caused by split rear bushes and if I repaired this, it would solve the sound issue ?95%?. Upon completion of the work, I returned to the garage to find the noise still persists and asked to pay £500. Absolutely will never recommend waste of time and money.

Had a multitude of electrical faults on my car (102) to be exact, left it with B&R Garages, and they provided me with constant updates along the way - along with continued professionalism and a speedy turn around.Will be returning for any future issues with my car.

Found B&R Garages online after getting an engine management light. B&R booked me in quickly, looked into the issue and provided me with updates through the day. The issue was fixed and I had my car back the same day. I will definitely be taking my BMW back here for any future issues. 100% honest which is hard to come by nowadays!

You never want to take your car to the garage, but when you do, you want them to be honest and explain what is what. This is exactly what this garage does. Certainly recommend using this place, and if for whatever reason I need anything in the future, I'll be sure to go here!

DO NOT USE - Horrible service and attitude of owner and price kept increasing without agreementI went to this garage to get my heating matrix changed. After getting a few quotes I chose to go with B & R Garages. They weren't the cheapest but were local and had been recommended by another garage.Initially they were friendly and helpful, they gave me a final price inclusive of VAT, told me the job would take 2-days and could fit me in the following Monday.I dropped the car off on the following Monday morning and told them (on the phone upon booking and in person) that I would need the car back by 5pm on the Wednesday - giving them an additional day in case of any issues.They did have an issue with supply of parts and I was informed of this, but Tony reiterated that 5pm on the Wednesday wouldn't be a problem.I called the garage on the Wednesday lunch time to check 5pm would still be ok and the mechanic, working on the car, said this was still fine.I arrived to collect the car at 4.50pm, to then be told that the car wasn't ready and would take another 30 minutes or so.Annoyed, I waited and Tony said that we could sort out the bill. Upon issue of the bill, the price had increased by £80+vat. I asked why I hadn't been informed and Tony said he had quoted for "best case" and not for refilling the gas (?!). Tony was adamant that this was the only change to the price.As I was late for my appointment, I paid the bill and left. I then re-checked the bill and realised I had been charged an additional £13.19 for no reason.I re-visited the garage to discuss this with Tony and his attitude and customer service skills were disgusting. Nothing was his fault at all - in fact mine because I was late for my appointment. I asked if he was willing to lose a customer for £13.19 and he said yes - it wasn't his fault.He was horrible and I would advise nobody use this garage - your price will increase and you won't get your car back in the time guaranteed.Service: Air conditioning

Worst garage we have ever used. Put a new engine in our car when it wasn't needed and charged an absolute fortune even though the quote originally (no mention of needing an engine at that point) was low. Took weeks to get our car back. Totally ignored our phone calls. The person on reception was rude and did you a favour talking to you. Do not use this garage unless you wish to be ripped off big time.
