“Last week my wife and I did a 1,200 mile round-trip to the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides, in memory of a lady friend who'd passed-away. I was worried about the trip because I had this engine noise in our 2008 Audi A4 which was getting worse. I'd been told the "dual-mass flywheel" needed replacing - which is an expensive job. I rang J&P Auto's and Owen booked the car in for Alex to have a look and listen. Immediately Alex said it's not the flywheel and got the boys to change the drive-belt tensioner and the compressor. That did the trick and put my mind at rest for the trip. I couldn't recommend J&P Autos more. I found the whole team honest, thorough and professional, and very pleasant to deal with. “Had the absolute best experience with these guys.Cannot recommend enough.Drove in with a flat tyre (thank you rogue screw) after failing to use the Fix and Go supplied with my tyre and with air leaking out swiftly I needed somewhere reasonably close to I didn't completely destroy my poor car. Popped into this wonderful place on Maes-y-coed road (only downside I can think of in this entire experience on one side is a cake factory and the other is Dominoes which means the temptation to snack caused just by the smell alone puts January diets at risk)I expected to have to leave the car and trudge home with my shopping but someone came out straight away and said they could get it done today!The gentleman who came out to see the car was helpful, cheerful and didn't make fun of my absolute lack of car knowledge which helped me feel less like the absolute idiot I am, which is always nice!I sat in reception and waited for my tyre change which seemed to be done extremely quickly, I thought I'd be there ages (there are windows in the reception into the garage so it's basically like watching your own reality TV show so it went by even quicker)The price was brilliant too, as someone with no car based knowledge I'd guestimated it being at least a hundred pounds so I was super impressed when it was far less.Great work, lovely atmosphere and genuinely nice people working there.I shall definitely be back for my MOT(And inevitably another flat tyre caused by my own negligence)Thank you all :3”

“Recently had a water leak in boot of my Ford Fiesta 2009 which Gary and Callum fixed. This was followed by a separate issue causing me to break down. Yellow engine warning light. I was thinking time for another car, which I currently cannot realistically afford. Gary reassured me it was still worth fixing. With a backlog of cars on their books, no promises were made on time scale, checks were done, repairs were made and I had my car back a week later. In addition, I have been having my MOT and service carried out by Gary and Callum for a few years now. All the mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly and the owner Dave is a very trustworthy man who will make sure your vehicle is safe to drive. The garage are very customer focussed and will always give you a price first for things that are expensive that come up as need doing in MOT and servicing and they will makesure you authorise the repair to go ahead before doing the work.
