Terrible food. I had fish and chips. Batter was very greasy, too much of it, parts of the fish were not cooked. Not great. Charged me £5 for a lemonade, £18 for the poor meal and then added a service charge.

I just needed a coffee whilst I charged my car next door. They were happy to do a takeaway capaccino, but the price was £5.45 !
I should have challenged it but almost couldn't believe it could be that expensive! Basically just a Costa like coffee normal size.
Don't think I'll bother coming here again

Air conditioning works well, shame it was on a cold night ? It was cold where I sat.
Part of the Celtic Manor group, so a tad expensive for what it was.

Basically nothing else matters when you overcharge for bog standard food and then have the audacity to put a 10% mandatory service charge on. Utterly disgraceful behaviour conning your customers out of more money. If you can't make a profit at the already expensive prices you're charging - you shouldn't be in business.
Avoid avoid avoid.

I ordered the pasta there it was soaked in oil, very small portion too. They charged me 4.45 for a green tea. I sit there for almost an hour before my food arrives and they charged 10 percent service fee.. extremely overpriced and bad service. The waiter was impatient when I didn?t hear what he said and ?pardoned? him. Very bad experience. I would avoid it!

Popped in on our way home. the service was amazing. Alex made us feel welcomed. Food was amazing. Totally recommend the Key Lime pie. Fyi update your opening hours for the weekend.

Awful and darn expensive for what you get. Considering it's owned by The Celtic Collection (Ty Hotels) I was expecting at least a bit more. Chicken wing starters were literally swimming in a sour lime hot sauce that ran off the plate! Mains was a very cheap tasting under seasoned burger with a limp excuse for a bun that actually makes McDonald's look good! A pint of Heineken is £6.25, Morretti is £6.50 and the cheapest bottle of wine (see picture) is £29.95, a small 125ml of wine was over £6. They automatically add 10% service charge and you MUST pay by card. No cash I had a small board waved at me that apparently says cards only. I refused to pay the service charge as not once did anyone ask if the food was OK, or would I like any sauces or anythng else
(resturant virtually empty so not busy), I had to go to the bar and ask for replacement napkin after the chicken wings (I was covered in sauce and you're told to go to the toilets to clean your hands) and my table was dirty. The man was quite rude and abrupt when I demanded the charge was removed and I got a non serious "oh sorry about that" response to my complaints. Do yourself a favour and find a local pub to get your food.

Food was pretty good. Service was okay. A bit lacking in atmosphere though. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Was staying in the nearby hotel, so it was convenient for dinner.Parking: No problem parking. The entrance road seems very uneven though so be careful.
