A magical trip over and underground.We visited this wonderful garden on the last opening day of the year really not expecting much. We were surprised to find a new discovery round every corner. Beautiful plants, wildlife, mature trees, fairies and grottoes. It's a wonderland for adults and children alike. Open up your imagination...

What a treat to find this place. Definitely worth a visit, but I'd recommend getting there before lunch, and then having a picnic there. Sitting under the trees watching the goldcrest was a pleasure too.

A lovely, quirky place. Grottos are just something a little bit different and great for photographers. The gardens are beautiful and well kept and make for a nice walk.

We are now closed for the winter months until Saturday 27th April 2024
we will be open throughout the summer months in 2024 from 10.00am with last entry at 3.30pm ( from Saturday 27th April until Sunday 29th September) Dewstow Gardens & Grottoes, near Chepstow are a wonderful place to wander around, with beautifully landscaped paths and decorative beds, rock gardens, waterfalls and many ponds, but it's Dewstow Grottoes that make this place really fascinating.
