This is a wonderful traditional country pub at the heart of its community. Selling excellent beer (I heartily recommend a pint of Brains) The Fox welcomes locals and visitors alike. Its small bar area gives a warm and cosy feel, with villagers popping in for a pint after work, catching up and still being open to tourists. We had plenty of long chats with the regulars and would honestly have been happy to go back even beyond the end of our holiday. The food is very good, I particularly recommend the lamb. Make sure you pre-book for a table as it's not a huge place and it's clearly popular. Such a friendly place, communities need more pubs like The Fox.

Great village pub with good beer and an extensive menu, you will not be disappointed there?s something for everyone and good portion size. Some very friendly locals in the pub all wanting to have a chat.

The menu has so much choice, especially for vegetarians, which is so refreshing to see! I love the old features in the pub and the whole place really takes you back in time. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely! We will definitely be going back ???
