Couldn't fault anything at all, the Shepherds hut we stayed in was lovely, really clean and really spacious, we had a very private hot tub which was amazing. The service was really good and they did a fantastic delivery of breakfast on request, there is a coffee shop on site with lovely cakes and drinks. We will come back!

This is a special place for us. Nice lodge with amazing view.
Great location to discover the nearest villages and towns. Friendly staff.

Very quiet but enjoyable stay very dog friendly staff were great really helpful and polite the cabin was comfortable everything you need except a microwave (you need a microwave) the hot tub was fantastic in it every day. Nothing really close by so they need to start serving drinks in the reception area turn it into a pub or proper diner you'd make a fortune but thoroughly enjoyed it *****

I can't rate this place enough. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special (massive shout out to Gabby). The lodge was incredible, extremely clean and everything inside was real quality down to the hairdryer! The private hot tub was amazing and the views just beautiful. We will definitely be booking for our wedding anniversary next year. Can't wait to come back, this place definitely does not disappoint!

I came to this site for a weekend away with family , and I was very impressed. The lodge was spacious and clean, the staff were all really friendly, I enjoyed using the pool and steam room, and the site was well kept. I appreciated having a private hot tub, and I would definitely recommend having a massage whilst you are there.
The only thing I would complain about is the size of the beds. As I was staying with family, I had to have a single bed, which was very small, and pushed right up against the wall which made moving and turning round rather difficult.
However, I would definitely want to return if I had the opportunity.

we love it here it is our happy place. the staff are so helpful and friendly and can?t do enough for you. we had lunch here and although quite pricey it was very nice. the pool is fab never gets busy and is lovely and warm. my son did the summer camp and loved it and we did archery which was also fun. the views are lovely. hot tub very hot. we stayed in black barn bunk. good size downfalls were not enough utensils no microwave which i was really surprised about. we have stayed in cheaper accommodation here and had microwave and big fridge freezer but in the barn it is only small fridge and tiny freezer. not much seating for 4 adults and 1 child again stayed in the cheaper one b4 and had more seating. i think this black barn lodge is more for hot tub and views. also not much can be done but so many flies. this would not put me off comin back this is our 2nd time and we absolutely love it. just them tiny faults. lodge was lovely and clean and lots of towels and dressing gowns provided to. love the smeg kettle and toaster and white company little toiletries. we will be back thank u

We stayed for 3 nights in a hillside cabin and have had a lovely stay. The fact it was pet friendly and had so much for kids to do was a bonus. Our boys did paddleboarding, the summer camp sports sessions and used the pool and football field endless times, I was able to enjoy a couple of massages in the spa while they had fun so it was the perfect way to spend 4 days. The cabin, although cosy, had everything we needed and the site itself was well maintained. We will be back.

I took a short break here with my family including two children aged 4 and 8.
The site was immaculate - spotlessly clean and well maintained. Our accommodation was done to a beautiful standard. The private hot tub was such a treat and making a fire in the fire pit each night added to the magic!
The pool area was spectacular. It felt laid back and relaxed for families but also extremely luxurious. I loved the fact the changing rooms were just as welcoming as pool side - so clean and warm. The pool temperature was lovely and the brand new spa facilities were great with far reaching views across the hills. Total bliss!!
We would return to love2stay but we had a few niggles that would make us choose a different lodge next time. The Black Barn 1 lodge has a bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living area. It was a real squeeze once the bed was extended. We were grateful of the large ottoman for storing the bedding but it left very little floor space once the bed was unfolded and it was awkward to move this out of the way ready for the bed. I?d say this lodge would only really be suitable for two adults and two children.
We missed a microwave, some hooks for coats, a tv in the bedroom, absorbant mats by the door for when you get out of the hot tub, oven trays, oven gloves, additional crockery and cutlery rather than just 4 of everything. And for the overall high end cost of the holidays here I?d expect a little welcome gift of some kind - even if it was just fresh milk in the fridge and some biscuits.
The food in the onsite cafe was delicious and the coffee was excellent!! Ghd hair drier - great touch. Staff were helpful and professional.
Overall a lovely holiday in this beautiful area of Wales.

lovely swimming pool, but that is it, there is absolutely nothing else to do, we stayed there for two weeks in july 2024 and came home early, accomadation is good from outside but quite worn out inside. staff cars travelling around site quite fast saying there are no footpaths. Staff are not over friendly. if you want an holiday with lots to do love to stay is not for you.

Throughly enjoyed our stay, accommodation was clean, hot tubs checked regularly, pool was clean and well equipped with loungers, sauna , jacuzzi, steam room. Had a well equipped gym. Log burners were a great addition to our holiday for toasting marshmallows. Staff were friendly and polite.

We stayed for 5 nights at Love2stay Mid Wales in a Black barn 2 bed and wasn't disappointed.
The accommodation is well set out, with all the amenities you require. Nice decking area, which is useful if you're taking a four-legged friend.
Hot tub and fire pit to the side of the accommodation with a fire pit and plenty of room for 2 cars.
Nice coffee from the reception area, and spa/swimming and gym facilities through a small locked gate accessed by your room key.
A superb base for exploring Mid Wales with Barmouth, Machynlleth and Newtown in easy reach.
It won't be long before we're back again ?

It is OK, there are some nice facilities, but not many. The pool is lovely, but the changing facilities are limited. They would benefit from an ability to dry your swimming clothes and towels, especially as you will need them for the hot tubs by your accommodation. 4 nights is more than long enough.
