“Stayed at the Cambrian House B&B a couple of doors down from the pub, so can’t comment on rooms but my review is based on two nights visiting the pub while we were in the village. We had drinks one night and the second night came back for food. The food was basic but well cooked (scampi and chips) and the bar staff had arranged this for us despite not serving food generally at the moment because they don’t have a chef. We believe the pub is imminently changing hands?It is clean and modern if not luxurious but the lady behind the bar was very welcoming and we have to say the 6 or 7 locals were also chatty and friendly. There were also some contractors staying at the pub - also friendly and chatty. A lovely atmosphere and the food we had was good so I have to give full marks for this review.”
