Reception was very unprofessional, insisting I hadn't paid when I already had. Then apologised saying it is because there are so many customers. (Its a hotel with 51 rooms) that's what you hope to expect.
In my room the water flow in the sink was a dribble and the shower was only just passable. The room otherwise was quiet and comfortable.

Good location with a couple of pubs a minute away, both dog friendly as is the Travelodge.

Spent one night here while visiting both Pontypridd and Cardiff. The place was very clean, with easy parking and a nice meal from the pub next door. Would stay again.

Clean room, friendly staff very willing to help even after we had a very late check in ( midnight). Wheelchair and disabled access rooms were well kept and featured all facilities you'd expect.
Would definitely visit again

WARNING AVOID AT ALL COST
STAFF HAVE NO CUSTOMER SKILLS AT ALL ARE EXTREMELY RUDE ,
THIS IS USED AS A HALFWAY HOUSE OF SOME KIND.SMELT OF DOGS AND CANNABIS ,Lots of very strange people walking around at all hours while trying to book in a dog threw up on the floor next to us
The woman on the reception was like a recovering drug addict she could not of been any more awkward if she had tried please please take note of this warning

Waited in the lobby for 15 minutes to check in as no bell or other means to tell staff members that someone is in reception. Being disabled I was able to park right outside the entrance. I was given a 2nd floor room but, on seeing my walking stick, I was found a ground floor room. Clean, bright and quite large room, shining bathroom. Ample parking and handy for Lidls supermarket.

The outside of the building looks like it needs some tlc, the room was clean and spacious but the windows needed replacing as the breeze blew through even with the window being shut, which meant you could hear the pub and supermarket carparks as if you had the window open. I felt it was over priced at £100.99 a night considering you didn?t get breakfast and there was an extra charge to use their wifi. Unfortunately I won?t be staying here again in the future

So me and my partner with my young child stayed here last night as we got married this morning in pontypridd the help and service was beyond amazing a lady cleaner helped entertain my young son so my partner could grab some pics offered to take some pics for us as memories helped us to the car with our stuff and helped get my dress to my car another member of staff helped with bits to help cover my seats from marking my dress while i drove the staff went above and beyond to help us and were amazing it helped us so much we would really like to say a massive thank you to the staff

Have stayed hear many a time.but this time have been given a room which has had dogs staying in it stinks off dog shit.which has been masked with gallons of bleach.tried to change rooms but are fully booked.was told the counter staff its not so bad.so sleeping in a chemically charged room.great nights sleep.
