I?ve been using the Coop in Bedwas over 20 plus years since it opened
I?ve always found the service friendly and efficient with fresh food and good prices
However I was disappointed to experience being duped on 2nd January by a newish assistant (thin young man) who overcharged me. I should have checked what the register said; but it was only when I was half way home that I realised he?d read out an amount greater than the total of the price of the two items I?d bought
The amount involved was trivial and of no real consequence to me
My concern is that if this is being repeated against the poor and vulnerable of the community .. and right opposite a police station .. then it is both criminal and immoral
I hope the lovely manager and other staff take note and watch over this person with cctv etc to prevent this recurring

Very good store

Love co op Bedwas. Always clean and tidy and full of stock. Pop in for milk or something you need in between big supermarket shop. Staff all kind and helpful fantastic customer service. Roxanne is one of the best ?
