Just a short walk to town and the castle, carpark only over the road costing £5:50 for 24 hours. I stayed on a Sunday with the wife and at only £34 I couldn't complain. The reception is on the first floor and has a local swimming pool feel to it but the receptionist was lovely. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, the outside of the window needs a clean but the view is only of another building. Nice hot shower with clean towels and quality toilet paper.

Travelodge is in a great location on the harbour right next to their competition, premiere Inn.The room was very spacious but a few things that made it lose a star. There was no Chester of draws to place underwear or clothes, only a very small open bar on the wall to hang a few clothes, and also the kettle was dirty with black all down the side of the ridgeThe window could also do with a clean as it obscured the view of the sea from our room.Apart from that, the bed was extremely comfortable, and tv also worked.Would I stay again, ? I found the staff and people not very engaging or friendly. So No.

It's a Travelodge, that kind of says it.It was ok. A cheap room for the night fairly close to where I was visiting. It was like most Travelodges I've stayed in, except, that the TV was an old style square LCD TV, bolted to the wall, so it couldn't be adjusted. The table was like a tiny work desk in the corner, well away from the TV, This matters because newer setups have a large table with the TV on that on a swivel, so it can be adjusted. You can sit at the table and eat, whilst enjoying programmes on the TV. This layout prevented any of that relaxation. I don't understand that thinking.

It's a lovely clean Travelodge situated in a pretty harbour areaStaff are so nice and welcomingSpotless white bedding and towels...what more can I say...it does it all for me...Rooms: Airy and spacious..extra pillowsLarge king-size bedsAnd really good heating...clean bathroom/shower rooms...Nearby activities: It is within sight of Caernafon Castle and the harbour...there are boat trips around the Menai straits...bus tours...all within a monents walkAlso an ASDA and a Morrisons store 2mins walk away...Safety: It seems to be a safe environment..I have never found a cause for concern although I can't comment on late at nightWalkability: Most of Central Caernarfon is relatively flat...

Noteworthy details: Member of staff smoking weed every day. Three times we came across her and she stank of it. Even the lift smelt of it. Not good!
