Really can't fault Specsavers. Staff all lovely - really helpful. Right prescription for me (in the past I have had other opticians - not Specsavers - make up glasses with the wrong prescription! I struggled to find frames I like and they were so helpful, I finally found the perfect frames. Very reasonably priced. I worked out the cheap glasses advertised on the TV would cost pretty much the same once everything was added on, but without the service and being able to try the frames on. Couldn't be happier.

This was my first time in Specsavers even though I have had glasses all my life. Staff and optician were very professional and didn't give me the hard sale I'm used to. Highly recommand!

Sadly i must advise you go to a different specsavers if possible.The most alarming reason for 1 star review is that when i was having my eye test and saying i could only see blurry images...it was realised it was the machine eye peice that was dirty and not my eyes !!! The glasses you try on to choose a pair are covered in grim, fingerprints and "yuck" . Your lucky to find a pair that are clean. My actual prescription glasses came back filthy too. Usually your glasses are at least cleaned before giving them to you. There appeared to be ample staff that could actually be polishing up the glasses on display rather than " hanging around".

Never had any problems for years but the last pair of glasses I've had to go back 7 times this year as one of the lens keeps falling out and the nearest spec savers is a 40 mile round trip
