Wow what service brilliant,phoned with abs/wheel sensor warning lights on my wife's Skoda Fabia,spoke to Roy yesterday (Mon 21/8) booked in today (Tue 22/8) all sorted.what nice and friendly lads and lasses,AVW now in Penygroes not Carnarvon easy to find,Google's still showing Cibyn in CarnarvonGive them a ring can't fault this place.Special shout out to Roy 5 stars min.

They are very expensive and they looking to scam you . Broke my fuel tank near by and they asked for 1540£ to replace it. (Mercedez Benz sprinter 2011) called another service and they did the job for 350£!!! Avoid them

They are very expensive . They just diagnosed my car and they charged 80£ without doing anything on it. They didn?t tell me this before!!!

I've had my van for the past 6 years and AVW in caernarfon is the most efficient, best ran garage i've ever been to. I travel over 40 miles just to use this garage but its well worth it and i wouldn't take my van anywhere else.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Van dropped off by recovery after a breakdown.AVW fitted me in and got me back on the road in less than 24hrs and for a reasonable price as well.Happy to recommend them and will use again.

Not the best experience if I?m honest. I was booked in for a caliper issue, which being a mechanic myself I already knew it was the near side that needed replacing, I just didn?t want to do it myself laying in this wet cold weather. I was told a courtesy car would be provided which was great. Only to arrive early in the morning and no courtesy car.. Frustrating as it was a 40 minute drive for me and no phone call to say they hadn?t received their car back yet.. So a wasted journey. Fair enough though Tim sent a text and apologised. The following day dropped off the car and all?s well I got the courtesy car, only to spot a young lad get into my car with no seat cover, no gloves or mask on! (Covid) Later that day I get a phone call telling me both calipers are seized with a almost £400 bill?! Come on.. I appreciate you need to make money but don?t take the mick! I know it can be recommended changing both calipers, but don?t say both are seized or automatically say both need replacing with a hefty bill. I then get speaking to Tim over the phone that gives me a disgusting conversation on how I shouldn?t tell him how to do their job, also asking me what I do for a living?! Really?!! If this is how you treat your customers you need a wake up call. They did bring the price down and just the near side calliper got replaced after the complaint. They rushed the job though and didn?t bleed it through properly as the brake peddle is very soft and spongy. (Air in the system) I know they can be a pig to bleed at times but at least do a proper job.. Dissatisfied really and I expected more from a ?Vw specialist? If I wanted a poor rushed job I?d of used a back street garage. Would I use them again? Probably not no. Just be careful what you?re paying for if you use this garage!

Amazing service! Even though I telephoned late in the afternoon of Christmas Eve, Tim immediately followed up on my urgent query regarding work done on my VW camper in 2008 when I use to live in North Wales and used to use AVW regularly.
