Visited today (a random Tuesday in July) with a friend, and our children aged 6 & 7, for brunch during a visit to the Roman Legion Museum, having seen the previous positive reviews of this place.
We ordered a variety of breakfast/brunch dishes, including some from the Specials, and we're not disappointed by what we were served - fantastic. We also each had ice-cream for dessert, with a good variety of flavours on offer - the cake/brownie/tiffin/etc. selection also looked amazing.
The staff were all friendly and attentive - the service throughout our visit was great.
Would 100% recommend, and would revisit if in the area again - maybe even for one of their pizza nights

Beautiful little tuck away place small indoors but very spacious not crammed in the slightest staff were very welcoming and then there was the pizza delicious is an understatement really big easy split between 2 very reasonably priced all in all the snug is one of those gems you don?t come across very often

As authentic as Italian pizza can get outside of Italy. Great crust, delicious dough and good variety of typical Italian style topping options. Service and personnel 6/5.

Cody restaurant, with good indoor and outdoor seating, gives you the Roman feelings and emotions.
The food was amazing and will definitely recommend the brunch over there.

An absolute gem of a place.
We've been 4 times in 4 months, for brunch and dinner. Everything has been delicious and the service has been really lovely. Looking forward to our next visit.

This restaurant is my go to place and will continue to recommend to others. The authentic cooking with fresh produce and atmosphere is what makes this place so welcoming and enjoyable. A family business that cares about its customers! Last night we enjoyed one of their delicious pizza nights, before our food was even at the table I booked breakfast for the morning. As usual and as we have come to expect the food was perfect!! I urge others to come here and dine in future.

I've eaten here a few times in the past....guess it would be difficult to have eaten there in the future!....a figure of speech perhaps.... anyways....quite a nice place to eat and have a drink.... traditional cosy....snug indeed....cafe restaurant pizzaria feel....good place to breakfast and lunch....the variations on Eggs Benedict are my particular favourites....not the cheapest place for a light lunch perhaps but the breakfasts are reasonable and the quality good....they seem to have cut their midday hours recently however....have never attended in the evening but I think it would be a fine environment for an intimate romantic meal.... Valentine's venue perhaps.... definitely need to book ahead....even for breakfast sometimes....you won't get a beer for much under £7 but then prices are crazy everywhere nowadays I feel....I would certainly recommend however....

so I've had a breakfast in the past which was gorgeous but today was my first Sunday roast. I had turkey and it was absolutely delicious! cooked perfect and the veg and gravy absolutely spot on .
