Had a great time last night watching local singer Jake Taylor. Great bar and packed full of people who were really enjoying themselves. Amazing.

Shocking. First and last time here. Queuing for a drink and waiting ages for a drink with my wife and daughter. Three people serving and avoided despite all three of us stood to the bar...... One lad serving looked at us and sat down..... I have only every left one shocking review in my life on TripAdvisor but Sandhills not on there. Never going back.

Decided to pop in over the Easter bank holiday Friday with my husband and daughter. We live local and have never been to the Sandhills, I will not be returning! The bar wasn?t busy when we arrived, however the few people in the bar were ?loudly? making up for the lack of atmosphere. At the bar there were three servers, one sat on a bar stool chatting the other two were serving 2 other customers, there was no acknowledgment when we arrived (a big no no) when one of them finished serving he walked straight past us to chat with his mate!! Obviously didn?t want our money, appalling customer service. Don?t waste your time or money here!

Good bar, however, don?t like the fact that the staff free-pour any spirits, rather than measuring them properly. It would be ok if they get it right, however every spirit mixer tastes different, sometimes too week, sometimes too strong, even though it?s the exact same order. Jiggers are marvellous things!

Lovely bar in town. Good selection of drinks. They had an offer on drinks at the time of visiting. Plenty of space indoors with different seating areas.

Without doubt the best bar in the area, with great service, staff, and selection of entertainment as well as beers. A real treat, I cant wait to return. Hope its karaoke night then too!

We love the fact that we can site our campervan in the car park and love the ambiance of the pub. What would improve it from our perspective is if the owner could install an Elson point, then we could stay longer.
