First visit after many promises and was not disappointed. Tucked away a bit right next to the airfield at Pembrey but well worth the drive down with excellent road access. Very neat and tidy with plenty of parking. Friendly welcome and shown to lovely clean, bright table. As the name implies there is a vintage air with such items for sale in the foyer. Lovely touch having tea served in a teapot with woollen cosy and
cups and saucers. Food was lovely and quickly prepared and nothing was too much trouble. Like so many things, not only do you get what you pay for but the right attitude to start with can pay dividends. A real little gem and looking forward to the next visit. We'll done *****

I can't rate Amelia's enough, what a little treasure, mismatched crockery, lovely staff, fantastic atmosphere with the added advantage of great grub and watching airplanes land and take off while you eat, if you're lucky enough you even get a free air display.

Not the warmest of welcomes as we hadn?t booked. When we visited last year we hadn?t needed to book, so just turned up. Only had cake and coffee. Coffee was weak and the ginger cake was dry and tasted a bit stale. Very disappointing and won?t be returning sadly. Also can we apologise for being an inconvenience to you for not being aware that we needed book.

Visited with my parents for a light lunch. It did not disappoint.
The front of house lady was very polite and had a chat with us, which made us feel welcome. The venue is dog friendly, so our pooch was allowed to sit by us and was given a few treats (on a china plate I should add!).
The freshly cooked omelette with cheese and mushroom was tasty and perfect. We also had ice cream on waffles and a toasted sandwich, all of which were generous and delicious.

Called in for lunch with two friends. We hadn?t booked and were helpfully told by the waitress that there would be a wait as several other tables were already seated. We chose to wait (about half an hour) and were not disappointed. On a warm day the seating area was well ventilated and the ambiance pleasant. The menu was varied and all dishes freshly cooked. My omelette was delicious and my companions? fish bites and chips crisp and well cooked. Plenty of parking and an eclectic array of vintage items to peruse if that is of interest. We didn?t sample desserts or cakes but they looked delicious. I imagine the afternoon teas would be excellent as fine china and teapots were on display.

We came down on Saturday the 22nd of June 2024, to have breakfast for my grandfathers birthday. To begin with, half of our arrived a bit later than some, so during their time waiting the staff were badgering to take orders when no one was ready. Also during this time the chef and waitresses were openly complaining about our group coming in while they were expecting a larger table. One the second half arrived we were not even given 10 seconds to look at the menu before someone rushed over to take our order. Also one waitress gave absolutely stinking looks when we asked for some ketchup.
The food was very sub par and honestly with the staffs attitude, we will not be returning again!

Such a beautiful find!
Wonderful vintage atmosphere, setting, and the food is outstanding.
Breakfast order was taken in a timely manner by courteous staff.
Filter coffee for two that accompanied our breakfast came in a huge (lasted an hour and a half) coffee pot with a cute vintage knitted tea cosy. Vintage and nostalgic dainty China tea cups and saucers to drink from were a delight!
Food arrived hot and beautifully presented.
Portion sizes were excellent! Produce was flavoursome! Da iawn Chef!
Eating here reminds me of eating at my grandparents house.
No planes arrived while we visited, but plenty of birds of prey seen from the windows flying across the freshly cut fields that surround the cafe.
Ooh I must add that the cheesecakes at the counter look delicious!
Vegetarian options: Meat options on the Welsh breakfast such as bacon and sausage were easily exchanged for Glamorgan sausages at time of ordering.
Parking: Free parking opposite the cafe.
