My doctor sent my prescription down to this pharmacy. I was told I couldn't have it for another week. I was told because my meds was early even though I had none left. I am not suppose to be without my meds. Don't phone here they never answer.

Told to ring around 5 next day,to check in perscription,tried from 4.45 until 5.30 permanent engaged tone .Not the first time either.Not a Happy chappy, especially if I go to pick up perscription tomorrow and they say it's not here,that will a 10mile round trip for nothing.Rang at 5.33 after closed and got a ringing tone but no one will answer,as they've gone home .

Shop is OK, unfortunately they are the only pharmacy in Bulwark so have tried them a few times but they are never able to do anything above the basics.They don't do private prescriptions.They don't have time for Common Ailments.

Absolutely shocking pharmacy. For repeat dispensing it used to be 24 hour notice, last month is was two days notice, this month it is three days notice. I often spend most of the day trying to call them to order my repeat dispensing. It just rings and rings. I complained in the shop after not being able to get through and their answer was that the phones had been busy all day. I called the number in the shop and guess what, It didn't ring, it was off the hook. Today I collected my repeat dispensing, 7 items apparently, to discover there were only 5 items in the bag, with no IOU. I said my medication was missing and they made up the extra. I complained about how they could miss off items and not realise, especially when dispensing is, by law, meant to be double checked by two persons, this clearly didn't happen. The shrugging of shoulders by the locum and filthy looks from dispensing staff were completely uncalled for!! To top that off, I got home to discover another medication was missing from the bag ...... DISGRACEFUL!!!

Generally a good Pharmacy.Today however, I wanted to purchase some Canesten Cream. I was asked what it was for and said that it was for Thrush (caused by long distance running).I was told that I could NOT purchase it and would need a Doctor's appointment. I informed them that to obtain a Doctor's appointment at our surgery (Towngate) would take nearly 4 weeks! Total lack of interest in helping me for a what is a very minor condition resolved by a mild cream and one that I have since purchased in Tesco's.So not only have they wasted my time, but they also wanted me to waste the time of an NHS Doctor - no wonder it is taking me 4 weeks to get an non-urgent appointment!Maybe have a think about the consequences of your actions next time, none of this was necessary.

Have been to this pharmacy a few times always lovely, friendly staff. Thank you to the lady who stayed open past closing knowing I was on my way from GP. Also thank you to the lady who rushed my prescription due to me feeling ill, I made it home just in time

Great advice from Tracy that solved plantar fasciitis by demonstrating exercises to stretch tendons down the back of the leg. My GP could only suggest paracetamol and option for painful steroid injections deep into the foot that wouldn?t last. Tracy is a saint. By stretching my foot I?m without pain. Pharmacists are great advisors

Nice, friendly pharmacy. Staff are always helpful and polite and deal with prescriptions quickly and professionally. My only criticism is only 2 people allowed in store at a time. This results in long queues outside every day which is not ideal if trying to collect a prescription in a rush. There has not been a time I have visited where there has not been a queue to go inside. Sometimes this queue has been double figures of people queuing past other shops next door.

My partner tried to get a private prescription for a single prescription painkiller, properly issued by her dentist yet was refused and made to feel like a drug-user. No attempt to make contact with the dentist to check, no polite decline - made my partner feel awful. Rude and unhelpful - do not use this chemist.
