Cozy, beautiful and Delicious!
We stayed at The Cedars while attending an event in the area, and it was an absolute treat. Everything about the guesthouse is done with care and good taste?from the thoughtful decor and soft bedding to the curated selection of tea bags and art in the room. It?s a modest space, but charming and welcoming.
The highlight of our stay was without a doubt Nick?s cooking. Using fresh, local ingredients, he turns every dish into a celebration of flavor?truly a party in your mouth! Breakfast is made to order, with wonderful coffee and plenty of options to start your day right. We recommend trying every dish you can?and don?t skip dinner! It?s worth staying in for.
There?s plenty of parking if you're coming by car. If, like us, you?re arriving by train, it?s best to arrange transport in advance.
All in all, The Cedars offers a warm, cozy atmosphere with exceptional food and hospitality. Highly recommended!

What an absolute gem?
From walking in the door to walking out, was an absolute pleasure greeted by a great host room was excellent honesty bar available, and the breakfast was exceptional.

I stayed at The Cedars as part of a trail riding holiday. It exceeded my expectations. Lydia and Nick were fab hosts, just the right level of being there when needed and vanishing at the right points. The room was lovely and clean, albeit the ensuite was a bit dated. There are books everywhere giving the place a lovely lived in feel.
The food was amazing! I would come back if traveling through just to eat. The breakfast was lush and a good portion, dinner was great with the most amazing crumble and custard to finish.
This is a real gem and well worth a visit.

Motorcyclists welcome!!Such an amazing location with the BEST biking roads and off road parking.Rooms were clean and had beautiful views.Hosts were beyond amazing with the most delicious meals and hospitality.Nick and Lydia, we will be back. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Whispering Pines Lodge was a nature lover's dream. Nestled amidst tall pines, the lodge exuded a sense of tranquility. Our cabin was impeccably clean and had a rustic charm that made us feel right at home. The lodge staff were incredibly helpful in suggesting nearby trails for exploring. This is a place where you can truly escape the noise of the world.

I?ve never stayed in such a perfect hotel, arrived to be greeted by Nic in the car park, walked into a very well presented room with a couple of cookies waiting.Breakfast included with a great menu. The best food and host ever. Honestly the best hotel and host I?ve ever had.

Rooms: Clean, in good condition and fit for purpose.
Food & drinks: The Morning full cooked Welsh breakfast was fantastic! All freshly prepared quality ingredients. The male owner was a qualified chef to.
Noteworthy details: The owner's were lovely people and nothing was to much trouble, I would recommend this place.
