Had two meals here during a short break at Builth Wells. Both were first class and reasonably priced. Definitely go back next time.

Mixed review 4 out of the five meals were lovely but my mum asked for her steak well done and it was more like medium rare she couldn?t eat it, I told the waitress and she didn?t even apologise, she just whipped the plates away and asked if we wanted desserts

Food and drinks: We just went as it was raining and close to where we were staying, the pub basic in the way of furniture but comfortable. A good range of drinks . The pub was very clean and the barmaid was cleaning the shelfs in between serving customers. The menu was a good one ,was told one thing was not on it but still great choice. When the food came it was nice to see a full plate and had homemade chips and was well presented it was real homemade cooking. Its was a really lovely meal all round. It was well worth the money. Have to other places and been so disappointed . The food and drinks in the greyhound hotel are well worth the money brilliant.

Rooms: Seemed to have been recently refurbished. Roomy, clean and comfortable. Great shower.
Food & drinks: Good food and big portions. Service excellent, staff couldn't be more helpful.

Mixed bag. Nice staff, beer good and cheap. 12 of us had great meals with no exceptions.The other 5 couples all happy with their rooms but ours was filthy. Basically hadn't been touched since whoever the slobs were who stayed there before us. All sorts of stuff on carpet and bathroom floor, toilet seat hadn't been lifted and was totally freshly stained with pee, food on the wall like they had been having a good fight, tea tray full of crumbs, blood on quilt.Cleaner had obviously not been in so probably a one off.
