I presented my car to this garage with an abs fault. They were very accommodating so no complaints there. However, when they did the diagnostics and created a strategy for work they then became a garage who are in my eyes unworthy of the title Ford Specialists or their high level star reviews. The so called 'mechanic' rang me after diagnostics to inform me that I needed from £2600 up to £3500 of repairs, inclusive of a new auto gearbox or full overhaul. They clearly do not understand what they are doing because I got the car fixed with 1 x abs wheel sensor (£7.50) and the turbine speed sensor (£180) plus two hours of labour. Cleared the codes and it is as good as it should be with no codes. This garage needs to re-train its mechanics and stop trying to con people. Any mechanic worth his title would have replaced 1 or all wheel sensors first before then replacing the tss sensor. Only then do you look at gearbox replacement if the cheaper work fails. I paid for diagnostics that told me nothing my own code reader didn't, but their repair strategy was appalling. Would never trust them with my car again. Please beware and have any unrealistic quotes double checked by a second garage. They were effectively writing my car off or asking me to spend over 10 x the money needed to actually fix the car.

I have been taking my car(s) for the MOT test to Powerhouse for many years and have received an excellent service every time I've been. I receive a reminder well in advance of the test date (part of their service), they always find a suitable time slot, and the test is carried out while I wait. I have mentioned Powerhouse to my family and friends and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

I put my car in having had a problem all the way home from Central Europe. I had two days to get it done and return to my family, so I took a punt having read good reviews and being local to me. The electrical problem gave the mechanic no fault codes to go on and I was very doubtful I?d be able to get going back on time. After keeping the car for a day, they?d pulled out and got to the bottom of the problem and at a very fair price. I can?t recommend them enough. The mechanic talked me through the possibilities and put the possible unnecessary expenditures to the front of his concern. Definitely a fair and trustworthy company I?ll be using again. 10/10. ?

If you own a Ford vehicle then look no further, I had a problem with my mondeo which could not be found from local garages, so I took it here and problem solved in one day!!The car drives like new so cant thank Dave and the team enough, very professional service and highly recommend to all..

Very very poor tried to say things wrong with car took it to another garage and all was clear rip offsTook it straight for diagnostic check no faults found and. Then was able to drive the 10 miles back with no problem total con merchants liars
