Excellent chippy. Food was great (so we're the portions!) and the staff were very welcoming to two middle aged cyclist types. Thoroughly recommended and will happily go back when I'm next in the area. Pro tip: the curry sauce is very good.

Only been hear a few times, but every time has been a really good experience, lovely food, had a burger and chips meal, staff are very friendly and welcoming, I do recommend a pop in if your hungry.

Ordered a pizza from there no bbq base sauce like I asked for and there was none on there and hardly any ham or pineapple either and 15pound for a pizza it?s an absolute rip off I will never order from there ever again absolute disgusting food

Munchies used to be a regular for me, hot baguette meal deal used to be £5 it?s almost £10 now! The whole shop is a rip off, shame as the food isn?t bad.

They've gotten worse over the years. Prices have over doubled and they often only fill boxes of chips half full. Shameful. Multiple similar instances of neglect from myself, my dad and my mum. This was final straw today 17-apr-2025, received box 3/4 full and undercooked. Have just put them in the air fryer ffs. If you can't cook chips, why are you a chip shop? Used to be perfect every time now it's mostly a liability ever since they opened second store.

I called in here yesterday, on route back to West Mids.
The place was buzzing, a friendly greeting afforded me by the owner and staff.
I made my order and settled whilst the fryer was completing a chip cycle...said I would wait in my car awhile. A staff member enquired if I desired salt/ vinegar and said she would bring the order ASAP.
My order was a simple Fish Cake and Chips.
The food quality, potatoes standard, fish cake, presentation and svc etc was to behold.!! Thanks
I am now well into my seventh decade often leave food that I do not have the space for! In this case I ate the lot, easy overfull but it was that good...thanks again folks, hope your making a good living it's earned and well deserved...a t b Paul Storr.

After years of popping in here we had two bad experiences..1st one a week ago girlfriend picked me up chips and sausage in batter it was fouls the sausage chips okay not the best surprised us ..took photo of sausage next time there showed her but the little woman who's normally very nice wow she didn't want to except my comments or photo..the customer is always correct they say but she didn't want to know ..anyway I did carry on with my order to my girlfriend surprised we paid over 12 pounds for once again a fish small which had hardly any fish in it and the batter like the sausage pale like it not been cooked ..from these two experiences and owners attitude we will not be going using this place again...the customer is always correct she needs to take note and learn ...

Proper fish and chip shop. Good value, good menu range. Obvs it's a chip shop not a fancy restaurant hence 'atmisphere'.

Not even half a star was spoken to abruptly .then another person came on phone and kept calling me love .I asked her not to took my order great had 2 call back 30 seconds after she rudly put phone down on me .to pay .after paying she was so rude I'm calling my payment back .I will never eat from there .ever

Won a £20 gift voucher to spend in the shop. Ordered food to collect. Then told I couldn't use the voucher as you only have one month. There is no expiry date on the voucher. Shocked and extremely disappointed they didn't honour the voucher. If there is a time frame to use the voucher it should be stated like other venues do.
