My fiend and I visited tonight. We had brilliant service from the moment we walked in. The food was exceptional , garlic bread with cheese the best we?ve eaten.
Melissa is a wonderful character, welcoming, funny and lovely.
Thank you for a great night in relaxing surroundings.

Good food and beer in friendly pub obviously popular with locals of all ages, seems like a nice community. Breakfast options nearby. Letting room with extra large bed and ensuite, as in their pictures clean and with everything we needed. Good location for touring or to visit Hay on Wye.

Stayed 2 nights, bed was comfy, tea, coffee, on suite, TV, hair dryer own private access so you don't need to go through the pub, ate one meal of scampi and chips and loved it, beer good it was called butty bach, no frills accomodation, just what I wanted, pub was quiet Friday night and Saturday quiet after 10.

Myself & a work college decided to cycle out to have lunch before cycling back? very quick response when enquiring about a few bits. When we arrived, a facility to secure our bicycles. Fantastic food when we got inside and a friendly service. Only down fall was we had no room for desert as they were so generous with their portions which I will never complain about! We will both definitely be returning soon enough. Thank you for having us!

My partner and I have been here twice after visiting Hay Bluff. I've got to say, super impressed with there quality of food. First time I had the pork with black pudding stuffing, then yesterday the beef cheek... both were absolutely delicious.
Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavours were great. Not only was the food really great, they were good portions too. Just what you need after a long hike!
