Wonderful and clean petrol filling station. Shelves always fully stocked, staff friendly and knowledgeable always going the extra mile to help a customer. I use this forecourt regularly and have never had an unpleasant experience.1* reviewers maybe need to take a hard look at themselves. Understand that knowing what pump they have used and the swiping of their "company" fuel card, knowing their mileage and their registration number is their responsibility.Speaking to a few other Cresta Coaches drivers, finding out that the reviewer James Smith is indeed 1* who everyone had the same "eyeroll" opinion of.."say no more" one said.I shall take his advice.

I use this petrol/diesel forecourt regularly to fill vehicles on an account for my employer. In all the time i've done Google reviews (and over 2 million views on them) I have never done a negative review as its not really my style and everybody or firm can have an off day. Sadly on this occasion I must report that my experience with the "assistant manager" Anthony today is just yet another negative one i've had with this individual over a period of time. There is a serious issue with customer service as Anthony curtly requests information already given on the payment card and when I showed him which pump I was on he rudely suggested I should know the number if the pump. There was only 3 large vehicle pumps available and If he doesn't know how am I supposed to??? After taking my card in for pre-authorisation I was greeted yet again with his unhelpful attitude and I coundn't help but roll my eyes and shake my head. After filling I returned to be questioned as to my behaviour and Anthony was more than happy to argue with me why he was entitled to treat a customer spending hundred of pounds with no respect and why it was fine. I'm not interested in Anthonys opinions, I just want to be served by him like the girls who often work there, with a smile and courtesy. The junior staff certainly put their "assistant manager" to shame. When I said I would write this review I was greeted with posture and a "don't care, im untouchable attitude". I would be happy to remove this review if I feel it is resolved.Sorry to post a negative review on this occasion, it has come after a number of weeks of frustration. I would be happy to speak to the owner regarding this individual going forward.Thankyou for reading.Edit 30th July 2020E-mail sent to Shell customer operations Uk regarding this issue on 26th July. Awaiting reply.

Great petrol station. Friendly staff and a brilliantly stocked shop - Starbucks, hot food, alcohol, great range of car care products. There?s toilets too which are spotless. Not the cheapest but very convenient. Very good COVID procedures too.

Shell app unsupported..? -? So had to enter to pay. (Staff didn't scan my card -? but shell customer service sorted it out +? ?)A bit pricier than I expected.-?Social distancing measures either unclear ('queue here' sign outside needed more guidance), ineffective (customers queueing inside, by the entrance), or not in place at all (at the pumps). -?Plenty of pumps free and all fuels available.+?

We stopped here to catch a few hours of snooze in the Hymer called Sir Henry.
There's spaces for lorries, coaches and camper vans. To stay longer than 2 hours will cost about 3 to 4 pounds an hour.
That's clean toilets, showers, baby changing facilities, Ah Smith which is open all night and in the morning there s coffee (Costa) and A Burger King.
Clean was the best bit...
