Appalling service! Apart from getting the order wrong, then the blame being put on me, the jacket potato being FROZEN in a part of the middle, to then having it put back infront of me with no apology or explanation! I will never frequent this place again. Ok, mistakes can happen but there is no need for rudeness. It was not my fault the potato was frozen, I don?t even know how that is possible. My fork actually crunched going through it. Then I had to go and ask for a replacement knife and fork. They made me feel I was the problem and not the food! I certainly don?t go into cafes to cause issues!

Ordered takeaway away Sunday lunch for the family. Amazing !! Quick service absolutely banging dinner will be back again soon. Hot tasty homemade delight. I'd show a photo but I ate it too quick.

First time here. Service awful. We sat for 15 mins before being served. I get it was busy but there was no acknowledgement of us even being there. No one checked if meals were ok, if they had we would have explained that we had finished our main meal 10 mins ago and were waiting for our desserts. Just chaotic. One table of six were served two at a time, so by the time the last people had their food, the first two had finished. Really awful service and atmosphere. Sorry.

I have been going here in Ogmore since my kids were babies and they are 25 now so that shows you consistently excellent home cooked food, great range and portion size but the hidden gem is the puddings! Fantastic range, totally home cooked, fresh ingredients. Puddings that i remember from childhood combined with modern favourites like Eton mess. Bread and butter pudding, cheesecakes ....too many to name. And you are literally 10mins drive from either Ogmore castle to explore or beautiful Ogmore beach to walk off the calories !!

Was recommended as coeliac friendly but I watch cross contamination happening in front of my eyes . I won't return .
