Went to Masons Arm restaurant for dinner with friends. The restaurant was roomy, nice and clean.
The service was painfully slow and we had to wait a long time for our mains and then dessert. Then waited ages for the bill. Our waiter went to get a glass of water for me and disappeared forever. It was Thursday, I could only imagine what it would be like on a weekend.
The food was just alright. There was not dessert choice for celiac people and my friend who had the condition had to have ice cream, which she wasn?t fancying. But when we rang in advance they told as there was a choice of gluten free desserts.
I don?t think I will visit this place again.

Second time of visiting on a Saturday evening. The food this evening was absolutely amazing as it was the first time.

We went to the mason?s Arms on Mother?s Day and there were 11 of us and what a beautiful meal and excellent service have booked to go again!

Absolutely will not be going back again
Went for Sunday lunch waited almost hour for food to be served no apology when it turned up looked like it was re warmed in the microwave shocking
The waitress was absolutely rude with serving the food spilt gravey all over table and just walked away no apology also a dog at premises next to were people were eating what a total turn off

Went for Sunday meal. Waited 50 minutes for a simple turkey dinner. No apology for the wait. The lady that served the dinner pretty much slung it on the table. Turkey was dry. Vegtables were cold and the roast potatoes were doused with pepper.
Table next to us had a dog !!
