“My wife and I have recently stayed in the Coed y Mwstwr Hotel for three days. Our second visit.
Exceptional.
We cannot think of a more welcoming and truly relaxing hotel experience.
The Reception Staff are wonderful. Efficient but with an easy style that visitors immediately warm to. I cannot rate them highly enough. They may not have had spare cuff links to cover for my forgetfulness but the giant paper clips they provided did a wonderful job!
The bar and reception area is a warm and cosy sanctuary. Blazing log fire and a peaceful place to sit and enjoy a drink or eat from the delicious bar menu. Again excellent and attentive staff who reflect the easy going style of the Hotel. This is mirrored in the main restaurant too although on this occasion our needs were more than satisfied in the bar.
Comfortable beds - and breakfast staff who ensure that the day begins with a delicious start.
There are fewer and fewer hotels of this calibre left. There is nothing pretentious at the Coed y Mwstwr. Just really excellent customer service and a wonderful homely atmosphere.
It is the best.”

“I had the lamb and roasties with sticky pudding and proper custard. The lamb was very tender and cooked perfectly, the roasties were crispy and soft inside. The vegetables were fresh and steamed for a short time with slight salt. The service was friendly and wasnt noisy.”

“We regularly have Sunday Lunch in Leicester's restaurant at the Great House and it never fails to impress. The quality of local ingredients is extremely good and cooked to perfection. However last night we tried the A la Carte evening menu and once again we were not disappointed. Absolutely superb. All the staff are always friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend.”

“Great place, walking distance to the designer village. Miller and Carter next door. Rooms are tastefully decorated, bathroom very clean. Breakfast amazing, lots of choice for everyone.

The room was clean , comfy big bed and good shower over bath and a decent sized tv
The hotel is in lawned ground s with a back drop of woodland at the back
There was a small shop in the reception area and the staff were very welcoming and polite, any local information they were more than pleased to help you with

“I highly recommend The Swan Inn for a Sunday roast. Everything was freshly made. The garlic mushrooms were to die for, the dinner was beautiful and the chocolate cheesecake was very tasty. will definitely be going back”

“Amazing venue for a wedding. Alison the wedding planner made sure my God Daughters wedding went without a hitch. The attention to details her and her team have is perfect. The table settings, the food served at both reception and evening was delicious!

The sweeping staircase is stunning. The breakfast service is mouthwatering and plentiful.

“Fantastic experience with Kitchen and Bathroom dreams right from the very start of the process. Always available for a conversation and able to have a discussion about any query we had about our new kitchen. The whole process was, excuse the pun, but a dream from the initial contact, to measuring, to ordering, and then to fitting and completion. Everything was explained to us right from the outset with nothing hidden or not mentioned. The kitchen has been fitted to the highest possible standard and the guys could not do enough for us, going above and beyond with the work that was completed. Absolutely fantastic!”
