Had a delicious lunch today, lamb kofta served with a lovely fresh salad and rice/grains which my husband loved, I had the sweet and sour fish accompanied by fresh home made chips and prawn crackers, again delicious. All served by the attentive and efficient Nico on the terrace with beautiful sea views. Can not recommend enough.

We won't be back. Take away menu is different to their sit in menu and sit in food looked great as it was coming out but our take away food was atrocious.
We ordered 1 fish and chips, 1 cheese burger and chips and a child's sausage and chips. £25 for the 3 meals and after I paid got told it was a 25 minute wait. Wasn't ideal but hey, id already paid.
The burger was awful. I'm not sure what was added for the flavour but when I order a beef burger I want to taste the beef. I didn't eat it and swapped it for my partners fish. The fish was lack luster and VERY greasy with soggy batter. This was the opinion of 3 people that tasted the fish.
The chips. Some were ok, most were under cooked some even still maintained the shape of the potato as they hadn't been thoroughly cut through and was still raw inside.
All in all alot of wasted food, time and money. We can't get any of this back but we can maybe warn some people not to waste their time on the take out food.
The was no apology for having to wait 30 minutes for my food the staff also seemed very over worked/busy. 2 front of house staff. 1 peeling potato's and serving as and when meals are ready. The other managing phone orders, in person orders and bar. Very chaotic and I did feel sorry for them.
Wasn't a good experience at all.
It's a shame as it's in a great location

Fantastic Sunday lunch today(I had a take away)
Fresh veg, roast and boiled potato?s, roast lamb, roast parsnips, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower cheese stuffing ball, and a lovely surprise to have proper crisp crackling, gravy was lovely too.
Very good value for money, bit too much for me, so got a small dinner for tomorrow as well.

Absolutely lovely cosy cafe with a beautiful sea view. The baguettes were so good with super fresh fillings. The chips were amazing and obviously home made! And the side salad was also really nice! Only a 2 minute drive up the hill from the beach carpark with lots of street parking. Definitely recommend after a walk around Ogmore :)

Stopped in for lunch as we were walking along the beach. Bit of a trek from the actual beach itself but well worth it! The cheese & ham melt comes with a choice of white or brown bread, it also comes with salad and chips! The sandwich was HUGE and the ham/cheese was really packed in, overall it was delicious. We sat inside, there were tables outside but it was a bit hot - you can sit a table of 6, 2 x tables of 4 and a table of 2. So if it?s busy I?d imagine it can be tough to get a seat. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some lunch down this way though!

Great chips but a serious lack of carrier bags. The question of ?have you got any ketchup?? seemed to throw the member of staff but we managed to work through it. Would visit again but unlikely as we live 275 miles away.

It's a nice little cafe with a lovely seaside vibe. I went here on a Sunday with my partner and some family, two of us ordered the baguette melts and the others ordered a roast dinner and a hamburger. The food took almost an hour and a half to come out, we watched as everyone else, seated and takeaway orders received thier food before us. The food was nice but not worth an hour and a half's wait. If I go back I'll probably just get tea and a cake as they had a wide variety of tasty looking cakes!
