Asked for drinks to be hotter as only lukewarm. Was told not allowed to be hot in case staff get burnt. Offered to heat it myself but told not allowed.

Barrister was confused about how to use the £5 e-gift card on my phone when I tried to use it today. I had to explain 3 times how it was supposed to work. Finally, he typed in the e-gift card number showing on my phone screen and it took the payment.

Nice and cool, a relief on a hot day. Service was quick, and staff polite. Unfortunately, the hand dryer in one of the toilets was not working, tried drying my hands with toilet paper but it disintegrated.

I visited costa coffee at Caroline St Bridgend today, what I experienced was not good, there were tables which had not been cleared, other tables had drink tipped on them and the whole shop was dirty and uncared for. I quickly decided to turn around and leave the shop which in my opinion was a Health & Safety problem. Needless to say I will not be returning to this shop again unless they up their game 100 percent. Costa get you act together.

I have never had a bad experience in any Costa that I've visited until I went in to this one. I visited a month or so ago and it was quite busy. I had vouchers to use but the server got my order wrong, I asked again for the correct order and she blanked me and continued to serve the person next to me. I waited and asked again for the cake I originally asked for, she got it, put it in a bag and slammed it down on the counter; didn't say sorry or make eye contact.
So, today I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt - it definitely wasn't as busy but again, no smile, acknowledgement or 'thank you' from the one taking my order; she appeared more interested in another customer (male) that she went over to immediately after. The person making my coffee didn't even turn around and when she did, in order to put my drink on the tray, it was like I wasn't even there.
I have never had treatment like this anywhere, let alone a Costa. Some serious customer service training is needed with the staff in here or if they're that unhappy then maybe they should look for a different job. I'm very disappointed and disgusted by they're lack of the basics (smiling, acknowledgement etc) and won't return as I've given them two chances and both times have been just as bad - the two stars are generous in my opinion!

Kenzie and Sarah were amazing they made the perfect team behind the counter. My drinks and food were perfect and delivered with a smile and excellent conversation. Very professional and polite. Thankyou both!!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly place, Costa do hot chocolates, cold drinks and snacks too.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible for wheelchairs. There are a couple of steps in the middle of the shop but there are also 2 doors to get some on either floor. Use the lower door to go straight to the counter. There is seating on both floors
