My wife and I have recently stayed in the Coed y Mwstwr Hotel for three days. Our second visit.
Exceptional.
We cannot think of a more welcoming and truly relaxing hotel experience.
The Reception Staff are wonderful. Efficient but with an easy style that visitors immediately warm to. I cannot rate them highly enough. They may not have had spare cuff links to cover for my forgetfulness but the giant paper clips they provided did a wonderful job!
The bar and reception area is a warm and cosy sanctuary. Blazing log fire and a peaceful place to sit and enjoy a drink or eat from the delicious bar menu. Again excellent and attentive staff who reflect the easy going style of the Hotel. This is mirrored in the main restaurant too although on this occasion our needs were more than satisfied in the bar.
Comfortable beds - and breakfast staff who ensure that the day begins with a delicious start.
There are fewer and fewer hotels of this calibre left. There is nothing pretentious at the Coed y Mwstwr. Just really excellent customer service and a wonderful homely atmosphere.
It is the best.

This was our 2nd time here at Coed-Y-Mwstwr annd we cannot complain in any way about our stay. It was superb! Every member of staff was so accommodating and friendly, right from our initial booking conversation to checkout. Not many hotels allow dogs to stay at no extra cost, and this was a huge bonus! Our cockapoo was treated like royalty with a lovely doggy-welcome-pack ready in our room for her.
The food was great and room service in the morning was wonderful.
We are definitely planning on returning and cannot recommend this hotel enough!

We had afternoon tea yesterday for my friends birthday. I have allergies to nuts and cheese and the service and accommodations were fantastic! The servers double checked everything and told me what each item was. They even triple checked before serving me the products to make sure nothing was missed.
The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was absolutely divine and the hotel itself was beautiful in a gorgeous location.
I look forward to visiting again soon

Afternoon Tea - food was delicious. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. All fresh, tasty and very well presented. As much tea and coffee as you would like.
Staff were polite and very helpful. We weren't made to feel rushed.
Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable, clean room but a little dog-eared here and there. Friendly, smiley welcome at reception and good service and food in the restaurant. Very good plentiful breakfast.
