“My wife and I have recently stayed in the Coed y Mwstwr Hotel for three days. Our second visit.
Exceptional.
We cannot think of a more welcoming and truly relaxing hotel experience.
The Reception Staff are wonderful. Efficient but with an easy style that visitors immediately warm to. I cannot rate them highly enough. They may not have had spare cuff links to cover for my forgetfulness but the giant paper clips they provided did a wonderful job!
The bar and reception area is a warm and cosy sanctuary. Blazing log fire and a peaceful place to sit and enjoy a drink or eat from the delicious bar menu. Again excellent and attentive staff who reflect the easy going style of the Hotel. This is mirrored in the main restaurant too although on this occasion our needs were more than satisfied in the bar.
Comfortable beds - and breakfast staff who ensure that the day begins with a delicious start.
There are fewer and fewer hotels of this calibre left. There is nothing pretentious at the Coed y Mwstwr. Just really excellent customer service and a wonderful homely atmosphere.

“I had a fantastic experience at Scopes in McArthurGlen Bridgend while shopping for a new 3-piece suit. The shop offers a great variety of suits suitable for various occasions, and the prices were quite reasonable.The standout feature of my visit was the incredibly attentive service provided by the lady who assisted me. I must have requested 4 or 5 different sizes in trousers and jackets, and she was patient and helpful throughout the process. Her knowledge and willingness to assist made the shopping experience enjoyable.In the end, thanks to the assistance of the staff member, I found the perfect suit that met all my requirements. Scopes in McArthurGlen Bridgend is definitely worth a visit for anyone in search of quality suits and excellent customer service.”

“For people with autism buying clothes can be a particularly daunting experience.When I went in to the store it was difficult to not get too overwhelmed by everything, I was comforted by the friendly staff in the store, who made finding the right size and style for me easy.I was seen by Adam, who helped me with the styling of the jeans, and guided me on how different styles would offer a different silhouette. He made finding the right pair for me easy and without discomfort.He was particularly helpful with the length, informing me of the free tailoring Levis offers.Without Adam, I simply wouldn't have been able to buy anything and would be staying in illfitting clothing.”

I was served by Holly, who was just lovely, a real credit to the organisation. The manager whose name I don't know also helped and again, just lovely.”

“Staff always friendly goid stock of clothes. Hope they don't close this store as it will be a loss. And they make a good fuss of your pets if you take them in and a free doggy treat unless it's a cat no treats but they love a cat in store too.”

At the moment though, I am absolutely disgusted that the lease for Sidoli's restaurant is not being renewed, giving them a closing date of 23rd February. Small independent businesses have a hard enough time as it is, but to close down what appears to be a thriving business, it's alway busy, is shameful. I hope enough people see this and object to the closure as I do.”

“I wanted to take the time to give Claire at Asda Pyle a review. I had quite the nightmare when visiting the store today. I drove to Asda’s with my baby in his car seat (therefore I didn’t bring his pram). I attempted to strap him into the trolley for the first time (thinking he’d enjoy this new experience) but I was so wrong. He instantly got so upset and wouldn’t settle, resulting in me having to carry him around the entire shop as he was still so very upset. This was extremely difficult trying to push the trolley with one hand and carry my crying baby in the other. Needless to say, I forgot half my shopping. I had no idea how I was going to pack my bags. But one of your lovely staff members named Claire, could see how much I was struggling and didn’t think twice to come and help me. She helped push the trolley, scan each item and pack all of my bags for me whilst I held my son. She made sure I was ok leaving the store and was just so lovely, understanding and helpful. I left there feeling so grateful to have had her help and really wanted to leave Claire a review for her assistance today. I’m not quite sure how I would have managed otherwise. What a truly lovely, kind hearted person. Faith in humanity restored! Thank you so much Claire!! You are one in a million!”

“The store is located in an outlet center with free parking. The staff are helpful and not too busy the day we went. The on-line website is rubbish, I tried several times to pay for an item and gave up ... Something wrong with their payment system.”

“I've got to say, it's one of the best shops in Bridgend! All nice and clean, they always seem to have a fab window display. The staff are very friendly. There was hand sanitizer available as I go in and a one way system , being Covid 19 ready, keeping everyone safe. “Went into store today to get a prom suit for my son. It was pretty busy yet all the staff were fantastic. There was a great selection and the staff were more this happy to look in the stockroom if necessary. A shout out to Bethan, who although rushed off her feet, was smiling, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. She checked the length of my son's trousers and gave us advice re keeping the suit that we purchased crease free. A really great store with lovely staff. Thank you.”

“Visited to buy hand luggage bags ready for our trip to Spain in April. There were plenty of sale offers throughout the shop for all types of shoes and sports clothing. I found a travel bag reduced from £27.99 to £9.99 what a bargain. Well worth a visit.”
