Was in the area for the week.
Usually most spoons I've been to has good deal for drinks but food are usually average at most.
But this place is different.
Pizza here were AMAZING!!
Felt like wood fired pizza!
Food was good. Drinks well, its spoons. Need I say more.
Went 3x that week, did not disappoint once.
(I cannot comment on the rooms and hotel service though as I did not use those services.)

Due to constant management changes by the owners this pub has lost it's Mojo. What was once an a lovely place to spend the evening now caters for the Karaoke crowd...Sda lose.

Service and wait for breakfast very poor waited 40 minutes for breakfast when it finally arrives it was cold.

I watched the bar man refuse to serve an elderly gentleman food and tell him he was too fat to eat, and then threw him out on the street to starve. Terrible place

I don't like writing bad reviews. But I organise car drive outs for car clubs and have used this place many times to get some food and have a break from Driving. We went there last night and experience very bad customer service. The waiter had a really bad attitude. The issue was one of our friends met us there with his dog and was told that dogs are not welcome which I find a bit strange in Brecon where it's full of walkers who have dogs. We all ordered food and drinks at the bar and sat outside by the pavement on the public road so the dog wasn't on the premises but on the public footpath. The waiter then told us that he's not going to serve us our foo as it's company policy that dogs are not allowed on the premises. Which he wasn't. Then the manager came out and told us the same but in a unprofessional way. Then went to the bar to get another drink and was refused to get served. So as I said Ive used this place a lot of over the years and this will be the last time that we will use this place for a stop. A bit of common sense and not having a attitude would go a long way in customer service. If I dealt with my clients in the same manner I would not have a business. ???

what a great hotel, rooms spacious large bathroom . all the staff were so friendly and helpful . rooms were very clean , great tea / coffee tray plus the bonus of free all day tea and coffee at the bar. central location , but like most of the hotels in the area there is no on site parking , but wasn't a problem as we found a long term car park about 150 metres away £10 for 2 days . would fully recommend it .

Absolutely disgusting. Every table had plates festering. Flies everywhere. Staff prefer chatting at the bar.

One of the better spoons, ive visited 60. Great spacious shower. Food great value as usual an beer selection second to none...and a very quiet night

Old Hotel with 6 room at least.

Had a great stay over a long weekend. Excellent room and great service in the bar. I left my hearing aids in the room and on asking about them, they offered to post them back. I'll definitely stay again.
