You're not spoilt for choice in Borth, but you don't need to be if you like Indian food. The service is friendly and the food is excellent as well as a good price. It is bring your own drink, but no corkage as far as I noticed. A must on every trip I take to Borth.

Food made fresh was tasty but with fresh u have to wait longer. Worth waiting imo . Busy location. Needs updating. Prices. Curry normal ish and tasty as u should expect. . Nan. Way to expensive imo cheese naan no cheese lol. Meal 4 2 2 popodoms. 1 curry 2 naan. Curry enough 4 2. 20.00. Not bad 2 people.
Cash only. Place thou.

Visited Borth tandoori two years running now and boy they do not disappoint. The food is incredible, I'm a huge lover of Indian cuisine and this place tops it. The service was great, so friendly and welcoming. Lots of customers coming in and out just enjoying their meals and time in there. Yes the decor is slightly dated but this does not take anything away from the food and service. Very highly recommended.

Been here past two years whilst holidaying in Borth and will be visiting again this year. Feel like you?re sat in someone?s front room. Food is incredible ! We?ve had borth special and garlic chilli chicken both times and probably will again this year! Best to book in advance. It?s also cash only and BYOB.

Don't be put of by the steamed up windows, the curry is great. As an eat in experience it is pretty basic so dont get too excited, but BYO means it won't cost you the earth. As a takeaway I love it. Lamb tikka biriani would be my recommendation.

I know they say.. Never judge a book my it's cover, but! The food was as bland as the decor!
Walked in to order a takeaway, even though the restaurant was empty & none in the kitchen cooking. My order would take at least half an hour?
We ordered chicken vindaloo, tikka & Pathia, peshwari naan, chips & Rice.
Chicken Tikka, thin watery sauce overloaded with coconut. 1 out 5.
Chicken Vindaloo, worst I've had, slight nutty flavour very strange almost flavourless 0 out of 5.
Chicken Pathia, about the best of the lot slightly sweat flavour lots of onions 3/5
Naan very thin more like a Rotti bread, virtually no coconut flavour to it, must have used it all on my Tikka! 1 out 5
Chips we're quite nice but small portion, as was everything else. 4 out of 5.
When I went to collect my order I noticed a very dirty sink behind the counter were they take payments, a large plastic container next to the sink , what looked like Mango chutney? And lots of small sauce pots stacked next to it! Should definitely in the kitchen and in the fridge.
Definitely would NOT go back.
I am very surprised by the many 5 star reviews? I do wonder are they real reviews?

First Time Eating Here As We're Down For A Holiday.. Chicken Korma Was Delicious And The Chips Were the Best Chips I've Eaten Anywere They Were That Nice.. The Lady Serving Was Lovely And So Chatty And Friendly Highly Recommended

Really disappointing meal, four of us ordered and one requested his meal to be spicy, we ordered 3 mixed starters which wee extremely small, ok ,but nothing special.
When my Lamb Rogan Josh arrived it was luke warm but everbearingly spicy, and inedible I left most of it.
24 hrs later I was vomiting violently followed by diarrhea but had been in thd sea at Ynys Las so could of picked something up there????
The decor was like something from the land that time forgot.
The only saving grace was the lady serving who was very pleasant, She even explained she's been there 7 years and doesn't like curry so couldnt say what stuff was actually like.
Personally i wish we'd got a taxi and gone into Aberystwyth.
