Booked mother day meal where 6 of us attended. 4 ordered the lamb 1 ordered beef the other chicken. We all live in separate households apart from me and my partner. Myself, my partner my brother and my partners mother have all been up with severe bad stomaches and diarrhea. We ordered the lamb, my mother and daughter who had beef and chicken was fine. Phoned the pub to explain its the only place we have all eaten together he said he would investigate and get back. No phone call back and wasn't even bothered. Will now be reporting to food trading standards via the council.

One of the very worst pubs I have ever visited. Landlord was absolutely foul to a young family with children. Terrible smell of damp and mould. While outside as we were leaving we saw the cook outside smoking and scratching his arse inside his pants. Never again.

We booked there on Christmas Day for 6 and was very disappointed with the food as it was appalling for the price we paid. Nothing was fresh and the turkey was appalling, all budget food and left most of it. Never ever book for food there again ruined our day big time.

Sunday Lunch
Staff were very friendly & hardworking who were run ragged as the restaurant was so busy.
Unfortunately the standard of food was disappointing and some plates were luke warm.
I must add that the whole pub was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated.

Went last night for a birthday meal with family last night this was our 2nd visit stunning food , service was 10 out of 10 , owner was freindly and atmosphere was good lovley place to go definitely recommend.

Top draw food this place is top on food welcome and very clean pub bed and breakfast.
Paul and his lovely wife ,are so friendly.

My 1st visit to The Rock this evening with my family and it was fantastic. Very welcoming friendly staff. The pub was absolutely spotless and I was very impressed with their 5 star rating. Meals were piping hot which I like and good size portions. Throughly enjoyed by everyone and will definitely be going back. Thanks Paul and staff

Went for lunch on a Saturday and it was excellent. The service was excellent.
