Never write reviews but went there on Sunday and left leaving frustrated. No allot of options and staff just about do their job JUST! Go else where if possible

Went on Sunday to only get a pair of football boots. When I was looking it got overcrowded with 1 customer and her 2 kids and 3 staff members trying to assist the 1 customer!
This made it awkward to selecting what boots I wanted, its not very spacious especially where the boots are and staff were standing in the way all talking.
I was slight annoyed as the options were terrible for football boots. When I got Z boots the only staff member I saw was on the till. I found a lady and she told me they didn?t have my size and just walked off to another customer who didn?t even ask for assistance. Whilst she was chatting I waited for someone else even walked around but no luck, went back and asked her to get my 2nd option, after about 5 mins she came with the shoes. I could see her talking to someone in the back room holding the door as she finished her conversation. Then had to wait on the till for 10 mins coz the till man went off to get something for a customer checking out. Eventually another lady seen I was waiting and served me. What should of took me 10mins took half an hour, BAD Customer service, staff pretty immature and incompetent. Go to another Sports direct if u have the option

My 80 year old Father went there looking to purchase a pair of Sketchers and was met with the rudest of welcomes and appalling customer service. The shop assistant was ignorant, rude, and made him feel unwlecome and didn't do anything to help. A clear lack of customer service training. He will not be going back there anytime soon !

Unhelpful staff who give the impression they don?t want to be there. The guy was sighing when I asked him if they had shoes in my size like it was such an inconvenience to look. Will take my business elsewhere, I feel sorry for the shareholders when there are staff like this representing their brand

Partner took tracksuit bottoms back today (Blackwood branch), unworn to exchange for different size, then to be spoken down to and accused of lying by the manager of the store who was very unprofessional. Tracksuit bottoms had not been worn, and to top that he tried keeping the receipt and tag, then threw the receipt and tag when ask for them back. Spent a lot of money in that shop, will never shop there again. Would advise to avoid if you ever expect any customer aftercare. Shambles. Will be taking this to trading standards.

Visited Blackwood Sports Direct to purchase walking shoes. I asked a lady to unclip the security tag as I wished to try them on. She did so, but the tag was still on the left shoe which prevented a lace going through the top inlet hole, hence I couldn't try on the left shoe as I was unable to do it up. She said there is no way she could remove the tag (despite the fact that in the past I've had a tag removed to enable me to try on both shoes-it was simply taken to the counter and removed and brough back) and I was asked 'you'll have to use your imagination', regarding if the left shoe would fit!! Bizarre.

The woman behind the desk today (red hair) was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever come across. I took back my trainers that I bought a few days ago that have been worn ONCE to see if they fit. She said they have grass stains on them so I cannot get an exchange. If I could attach a picture it?s laughable (she means the bottom of the shoe) that had been worn in the store NOT OUTSIDE.They are in pristine condition. Maybe try cleaning your floors? I had to walk out because I can?t argue with someone so dumb. Miserable and it shows!

Shocking customer service. Tried to over charge me then had the cheek to say is it any point in arguing over a £1. When I said it's better in my pocket than yours the jumped up cashier said it's only a £1 and is better on the floor .
