My prescription from Newport got sent here, the staff were absolutely brilliant. My medication is out of stock everywhere, and we thought it was out of stock here too. They phoned multiple pharmacy's to find somewhere that would hopefully have it in stock, triple checked all their fridges incase they had it etc. Went above and beyond with their customer service. Just as we were leaving, someone found it. Ever so thankful for this pharmacy!

Well I placed an order for collection and received an e mail from them telling me they will need proof of identity, as I am disabled I was going to ask my partner to collect it for me but obviously she won?t be able. Now this is the most annoying part, I?ve tried numerous times to phone them to see if my partner could collect for me on my behalf, NO ANSWER AT ALL!

Staff is great, always very nice, but all the time I go to collect my prescription is never really ready. After I order from GP i try to give a good week before go for collection but still not ready. Even for an emergency medication were not ready.

Disgusting service from 2 female members of staff, this is the 4th time my partners prescription has been non existent, always short of his meds, which requires us to keep returning, whilst returning every time we are spoken to rudely, made belittled infront of other customers & made to feel like liars. Of course when they checked there system they were soon in the wrong. once we raised our concerns about the shortness of his meds we were spoken to sarcastically. My partner has epilepsy so relys on his medication. we understand it?s not they?re fault regarding low medication being sent, but to be spoken to like children while We stood there with our own child, is disgusting. Very poor service.

Very poor service, 5 people behind the counter but due to the fact there's sickness and holidays only allowing 1 customer at a time. We were taking an prescription my grandson who had an appointment at out of hours as we thought it better he stayed at home, a very patronising assistant asked if it were an emergency, not sure what is deemed to be an emergency!PS. I would have given zero star's but Google would not allow

Shocking! Always understaffed, so there?s always a queue to get in. The pharmacy is a joke, so far have managed to mess my repeat script for months now. Promised meds to delivered as I?ve been really rough , my GP told me I needed to go to A & E but I couldn?t as my Husband had covid so no hospital would let me in! So boots promised delivery yesterday, but nothing! You can?t call them.Absolutely shocking so I have now had all my future repeats been sent to Mayberry.

They have just refused a prescription for an elderly relative who needed medication urgently. They said they were too busy. We had to arrange a Mars chart with another pharmacy . Disgusting.

I have to ask, what's the point? Random opening hours, shuts for lunch!! Often closed due to "staffing problems" I've kind of had to negate there is a Boots in Blackwood!

BOOTS Blackwood definitely deserves the 5 *, very friendly family atmosphere in store, staff members are all fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and customer service is truly superb

Friendly shop, a bit surprised though that they were closed for an hour lunchtime on a Saturday. There was probably a good reason. But my click and collect order was handled seamlessly

Collected a prescription for an elderly relative and was disgusted by the absolute state of the place. One pharmacy staff member had no mask, another was serving customers with her nose hanging out. One set of doors wasn't in use, and the other set of double doors was partially blocked by clutter so everyone was squeezing in and out of the same single door. No wonder the Valleys are a COVID hotspot, I've felt safer in McDonald's.
