September 2020 by devonroamer
Lets start by saying that Emma the owner is lovely and did her best for our 3 night stay. We have been trying to work out why there has been no reviews since september last year, we think it is because Emma is so nice, nobody wants to say anything slightly negative. The breakfast is fantastic, very well cooked, a small suggestion though. A menu of options so we don't have to ask if there are any beans. It just makes it easier. The room was in need of a makeover, very old and tired, the TV was square, at least 20 years old with a Grundig box attached that had 5 channels and no ITV. Bed was comfy. Wifi is excellent. The building on arrival is a concern as the garden is overgrown, the sign peeling and weeds growing out of the gutters, paint peeling off the windows and front door. Obviously the business has had better times but Emma deserves so much more. She is so lovely and we hope that she manages to upgrade a little and power on. Good Luck.
