Never got the chance to eat. App in car park wouldn't down load as no signal and no card machines so 7 of us in 2 cars couldn't eat here. Shame as it had been recommended. Very disappointed wonder how much trade they lose because of this.....

Had "light" lunch in-between activities. Recommend the fish finger sandwich and fries,delicious. Orders can be done through an app or at the bar and even though the place was busy the food arrived quite quickly. Hot,cold and alcoholic drinks served as well. Budget £10 to £15 a head.

Prices for food were quite high, e.g. burger and chips cost £18. So we chose our food from the 'light bite' menu via their app/QR code which seemed quick and painless but then waited and waited and waited...
I asked a passing waitress where our food was and the first thing she said was, it wasn't their fault, there was a delay with them receiving the receipts on the system. Our food arrived after 50 minutes, which is a long time to wait, when, in my case, I only ordered cheese on toast (about £11).

I take the point of a lot of the negative reviews but we walked into an empty ish cafe, got a nice table, ordered at the bar (expensive drinks) as silly app ordering wasn't working surprise surprise. When the food arrived it was fresh, hot and delicious and a credit to all in the kitchen who you can see working away. So if the owners extended opening times, lowered prices and ditched the app ordering i reckon the cafe would make them more money as they essentially have a captive customer base.

Whilst I would like to say I eat here I didn?t as whilst being a restaurant they decided to stop serving food. At first this was for 10 minutes then we were told an hour by a very rude member of staff who turned out to be the manager. So this is 2:00pm on a bank holiday possibly there were staff issues which meant the kitchen was busy but it was the utter rudeness of the manager who when challenged did not apologise. There were no signs up to say food was not being served and considering people were still entering when we left I find the lack of customer care pretty poor. The young lady who served us behind the bar was very professional and even looked a little taken aback by the manager?s tone to her and us.So whilst the food maybe good the manager needs to remember no matter how stressed you are we do not know why and that is no excuse to be rude to a stranger let alone a customer who has done nothing other than try and order some food in a red

On Sunday just gone, at 2pm whilst the car park was full and there was a good deal of adventure activity, a group of seven of us approached the cafe to be greeted by a dour manager who said that they were not serving hot food. I said no problem, we just wanted a coffee after a great four hour walk over the hills nearby. He then said that they were only serving drinks to their 'paying customers', meaning the bikers and zip liners. The cafe missed out on likely a six or seven pound spend per person, likely coffee and cake and the experience will see us NOT revising the area or recommending Zip World.

A big portion of burger and chips- delicious lamb burger and very nice homemade coleslaw! Quick and friendly service. Good coffee and wine!
