Would not recommend this place at all
The way we got greeted was totally unexpected and there seriously needs a change of attitude there towards the staff and how they speak to customers, we walked in unaware if you had to book a table or not and asked if we were able to have a food menu , while the bar staff was unsure they asked the manager if we could have a menu , we were declined food at around 5 when food started with no answer to why we couldn?t have food just a rude reply ?no? if you don?t know how to speak to customers then not sure why your working in that work area , it really baffled me as we then asked the waitress outside if we could order food and he said that we were able to and said he could take our order which we politely declined , I couldn?t say one thing about the food as we wasn?t even allowed to look at the menu , I really don?t recommend this pub

Took my mother here for her birthday. Was not disappointed. Staff were brilliant, food was absolutely fantastic. Definitely be visiting again.

Great ambience looking across the bay. Great service from Emma who always had a smile and went out of her way to make it a special occasion. Everyone?s food delicious and well presented. Thank you.

Just had a Sunday roast here. It was served hot and cooked well, with good flavour overall. Personally, I felt the portion of meat could have been more generous, and the roast potatoes were a bit disappointing?just one large one cut in half. The Yorkshire pudding was overcooked and lacked substance. The service was good, and the views are fantastic, but the piano music was quite loud, making conversation difficult if you're seated nearby. Overall, not a bad Sunday roast in a lovely location.

Visited here a couple of times while holidaying in the area. The location is great. Lovely views out across the ocean. The drink and food are also great. We dined here one evening and I had the monkfish Thai curry which was lovely.

Both The Tavern and the Bay are well worth a visit. We met friends there and had a great long lunch catching up sitting admiring the view (followed by a walk on the beach in the sun). Service and food quality were good. Will definitely go again if in the area

Lovely food and location Had to ask staff for drinks after 25mins and it wasn't busy. Not all desserts arrived. When they did we had to ask for cutlery.

Food is great with a lot of option. The seafood platter is very nice(no pic). The atmosphere is wonderful as well. There were rabbits running around along the parking area.
Kid-friendliness: There is a playground just outside the restaurant.
