Staff are amazing and very helpful. The rooms are big tall ceilings and views of the sea from some rooms! The hotel is draped in history. Lots to see breakfast served at the table with a booked time slot. Definitely will be coming back !

What a wonderful stay here at the weekend, even though it is a tad traditional and slightly old fashioned it truly is stunning and so lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and our room with a sea view was fabulous

Stayed here for one night with our pet dog, couldn't fault it, room overlooking the Menai Strait and mountains, food was amazing, three course evening meal was excellent as was breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Good evening in the bar with some of the other guests, great laugh. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have been going to the Bulkeley Hotel for over 20 yrs and while certain areas are looking tired and in need of a bit of love, overall the rooms are lovely and well equippedThe Reception staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff could have been more responsive at times and its great being given the desert menu but then forgetting to come back for your order not so good. All in all another great stay

Came here today as we were staying in Anglesey for the weekend and saw the lunch menu and thought it was appealing. The food was ok but the staff were incompetent and rude; totally uninterested in customer care. The place also needs a good clean. Never

Just had a couple of nights here. Food, especially the breakfast (excellent) is very good.Very dog friendly, the only real negative we had was with one couple with two dogs who just weren?t trained and made it quite stressful. The staff were all wonderful, very friendly and efficient. However, one member of staff stood out as exceptional - the waitress Holly, who really is a ray of sunshine, my wife and I could not praise her enough. If you are looking for a modern hotel with no dogs, this place is not for you: however if you like something different that is right on the seaside, then book yourself a little break like we did.

One of our favourite places to stay on Anglesey, beautiful view's across the Menai straight over to Snowdonia, amazing food especially the onion nests omg, attentive staff. Very posh furniture all over the hotel very comfortable. Art and jewellery on show and even for sale. Multiple restaurants and a great bar. The dog was welcome although not in all rooms. We had booked a sea view with a 4 poster bed although the dog wasn't allowed in there so we booked a luxury room instead which was large and very comfortable. We have stayed there twice and will certainly go again. I think you can get sea view rooms that the dog is allowed in although they were booked already, it was valentines day. Off road parking free. Totally amazing place. Can't wait to go back. Neither can the dog, everyone loved him and gave him cuddles.Rooms: The rooms are great, especially sea views rooms, some have balconies. Plenty of space, nice and warm. Great bathroom separate shower and bath. Great WiFi. Nice tv. Nothing at all to complain about. Much Wenlock water which is 5 miles from my home town. They only use the best things here.Food & drinks: On another level of fine dining but with hansom portions for Great value. Best dinner I've had in ages, my wife too.For example I had 10oz sirloin steak cooked to perfection which sat on a onion nest, luckily I ordered extra onion nests and they were like battered onion rings but not rings, like a bundle, they were absolutely amazing. It came with a salad which was top notch all the leafs n letice, green red & yellow peppers, lil tomatoes, cucumber, red onions with a very tasty dressing. Mushrooms which the wife cleared up and the tomatoe and plenty of fries but you can choose potato option or salad or seasonal veg. That was £23.. which is very reasonable nowadays. My wife had the duck and we both cleared our plates.. Pudding was great, we didn't have a starter although I'm sure if their anything to go by the other two courses their amazing too.
