veryey look after my queeny (nain) Veey well she's happy and it's in a beautiful location close to home. Last visit we had we had social distancing visit I cried but I was also thankful for keeping her safe

My parents were admitted to haulfre in August 2010 ' my father died there sadly in August 2012 ' I have found haulfre to be faultless in my experience ' it is like home from home ' every resident there is happy and so as other residents who have passed ' it is a very well run home ' %100 in every aspect " the staff treat haulfre like a second family and this is lovely to see ' the smell of home cooked food as you open the door is very enticing ' there are so many people who need residential homes like my parents and so this is peace of mind for the families of the residents to know that their families are safe ' cared for to the highest of standards by all the staff who give %110 ' it's a shame that the council have not managed to spend their budget accordingly and feel the need to make cutbacks targeted at old people's homes throughout Wales ' they have no compassion or care for the future of these residents and the future elderly ' I can't understand why the council say that these home's aren't needed when we have had these home's for decades and decades ' the argument is to put these residents in independent housing- flats for them to have independence ' if these residents could live in these accommodations they wouldn't have ended up in a residential home in the first place ' there is not one resident I have spoke to who would like to move from haulfre (THEIR HOME) a few years ago haulfre was under threat from closure by the council ' now again the council are starting the reviews again ' I think it's only a matter of time before the council gets what they want ' haulfre is a large building and grounds which was donated many years ago by the Chadwick family for it to be run as a residential home for the elderly ' my mother is on her 8th year at haulfre now ' she has really had a good quality of life since she's been there
