Where to start? Rang about a car and explained it'd be a ten hour round trip to view, assured there and then that the car was absolutely as described,no issues and offered a 14 day no questions asked refund if not 100% happy with everything,Matt Johnson was absolutely fantastic in every aspect,out of office hours calls regarding updates etc,the car was delivered to a date of my choice,not just their next available slot and the only issue I had was the spare key didn't work,one call to Matt and AA came out to recode the key. Howe motors and their team are absolutely brilliant to deal with,no hard sell and fantastic customer service,one very happy RS4 owner,thank you

Would 100% use Howe Motors again, everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I was able to secure the car for a lengthy amount of time with a deposit while I arranged to sell my current car at the time and arrange means of travel to the dealer. I?m extremely happy with the car however unfortunately just about 2 months after buying the car the water pump failed. Howe motors then covered the repair costs under their 3 month/3000miles warranty which I was over the moon with! Very happy overall.

Initially my experience with Howe's Motors was seemingly pleasant, as a single woman buying a car is not easy and the process seemed simple (home delivery). After the wet weather came in realised I'd been sold a sieve. No bonding on the front and back windscreen, completely flooded the car which now has resulted in £7000 down the drain. I contacted them twice about this matter and funnily enough got ignored. Not a customer service I would personally recommend.

Howe Motors were superb from start to finish. Richie was especially courteous, clear and highly responsive. But so was everyone I spoke to. My particular purchase was a little awkward because I requested that the wheels were changed over prior to buying. Whilst I?d offered more of a deposit to cover this wheel change, Howe Motors kindly took care of everything on my behalf without fuss and with just the normal deposit. That?s customer service!It?s a big risk sending a lot of money to complete strangers but I took the punt two weeks ago and the outcome is great. Matthew kindly delivered the car (an almost 4-hour drive) that very day. During the delivery journey there was unfortunately a chip to the windscreen. This was only discovered the next day and when I reported it to Howe Motors they kindly accepted liability and covered the excess for a replacement, which was paid today.Overall, this is an honest, family-run business and they care about it. Everything you would hope for as a consumer. I wouldn?t hesitate to use Howe Motors again if they held my next car in amongst their stock. I?m delighted with the result and endorse them wholeheartedly. Thank you so much, folks!

Vehicle purchased around a year and a half ago. Overall, it has been a great vehicle. It was bought unseen and delivered across the country. Received walk around videos and pictures and asked for specific in depth detail of any faults present in either the tyres/paint/running, etc. All looked to be in good order.Unfortunately, a few weeks past the delivery day, we noticed the car had a poorly repaired paint job done on the passenger side, which we didn't use until then, combined with very rainy weather at the time, hence the delay in us noticing as the rain covered the damage somewhat. This became noticeably more visible as time went on and ended up costing just shy of £500 for a full restrip and respray of the panel.The cost of this vehicle was around £12,000 so it was not necessarily a cheap runabout either.3 stars is a fair score as the car wasn't a lemon. However, the repair was either done on site or the extent of the bodywork issue hidden when asked. We didn't pursue costs from the garage nor communicate with them regarding the issue, but we felt it necessary to share the experience as it felt dishonest, this was not a small area and would have been felt by the person detailing and prepping the car. I'd advise you to fully check your vehicle instantly upon delivery if purchasing from afar from this garage.

Where do I start? This is a 5 star ?? review!Well I?ve never purchased a car without looking at it but I bit the bullet after the reassuring information Rob gave me.Howes terms and conditions cover you in every way. If your not happy you can return no questions asked.Obviously this was a great comfort and I felt happy to pay my deposit.The car was meticulously checked and valeted. Unfortunately there was a slight issue and Rob was honest and sincere with regards to this and it was booked into the main dealer to get this rectified. This delayed delivery but I was happy that they wanted to deliver my car perfect so I was happy to wait.I was kept up to date every step of the way and Howe motors pulled out every stop to get the car delivered to me (on a Saturday! Thank you to the delivery driver who was very nice, polite and professional, he doesn?t usually work a Saturday so amazing service!)I had a few slight issues that I needed rectified and have been so impressed with the after service I have received. Matt has been amazing, communication, understanding and paying for a replacement trim with no quibble at all!All in all these guys are fantastic and very customer focused ? offering great service before and after the sale.I love my new car and I would recommend Howe motors to anyone. They are honest, give fair part exchange prices and are genuinely customer driven!

I bought a Mazda Mx5 in 2004 from Howe Motors. Having taught Ceri as a child I expected a good motor. I have just put a new soft top on it. Through the years apart from some brake pads it has cost me little and is still a lovely drive. It recently went through a MOT with just minor problems. Thank you Ceri.?

Highly recommend, I was interested in one of their Mercedes-Benz and Mathew with Rob were really helpful and managed to provide me very good part exchange deal. Had Tire pressure sensor failure warnings on the way back from picking up the car. In the first week power train faults and going into limp mode then a cam chain replacement needed after that . Just got it sorted myself as too busy to mess around plus I am in Portsmouth so distances are involved . The sales process easy and well organized .

Outraged at this place, wonder what the owner would think seeing this. 1 year since purchasing the car from Howe, my car goes into a service only to be advised the wheel was being held on with a zip tied shoved inside the wheel nut thread they had cross threaded. This wheel had 100% been removed and refitted by Howe before collection as they changed the tyre on it. All they needed to do was recut the thread... dangerous and if there was any doubt before, I won't be going back now

Mixed feelings about Howe Motors, on the face of it and came across like they gone above and beyond for me, but many of these items I had to push hard for almost argue really and they were built into the price or should have been standard anyway.My main gripe is the salesman, and it's left a sour taste which I won't go back because of. He was forceful, came across like i was putting him out and he lied to me about servicing the car. One of the positives of the car they sold me was that it had a full VW service history, when I asked for the service which was a few months overdue to be carried out by VW and I would cover the extra cost before I purchased I was met with a wall and blunt rude comment of "we will sell this car elsewhere, take it or leave it" I wanted the car so I bit my tongue and let them service. They promised it would be as per the service required at the time. After that conversation you'd think you would make sure it was... They carried out a minor service and did not replace the spark plugs which they should have, they also did not update the service history of the car as it is VW online but didn't provide me with proof or details of the service. 10 months later I've noticed and they have sent me a backdated copy of a service however the car which previously had perfect main dealer history now has poor paperwork and I'm paying £100 extra this service for the service they should have carried out correctly which they sold to me at the time would be done. I also had to argue for my hybrid electric car to be sold with the correct charging cable it was missing. again the salesman was not accomodating of this but the MD stepped in and did then purchase this for me thank you. 3/5 is a fair score for my experience
