“Quite a big home bargains, looks like they have recently renovated and moved around products and shelving. Clean and appreciate the air conditioning, especially given I visited twice during the heatwave. Friendly staff and many products to choose from.”

“First visit for some time, nice Lidl to walk around and see what's on offer. Actually bought some Shin Beef, which seems to have disappeared from other supermarkets' shelves.”

“Iceland does not bother with fripperies in their shop. Well stocked fridges. Lots of variety. They obviously try their best with prices but their electric bill must be the same as a small village. Love the place.”

“Have stayed here previously on a social visit rather than business and knew what to expect and didn't disappoint. Parking is good and really accessible. Reception is open and large, guy checking me on was very helpful (sorry should have taken name, beard and tattoo). Room was good, spacious and clean including bathroom. There is a pub next room for evening meal, I would recommend going further down the road if on business trip, if your staying with family it's fine. Not huge meals but fairly low cost. Breakfast in the morning was also served at a neighbouring pub. Best breakfast had in a while and only chose continental. Lots of options from cereal, fruit and pastries. Plus quality coffee and juice available to help yourself. Breakfast was also available from 6.30am which was helpful.”

“I recently visited the Tesco Express near my home and was impressed by the convenient location and wide selection of products. The store was clean and well-stocked, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I was able to find everything I needed for my weekly shopping, including fresh produce, meats, and dairy products. The prices were also competitive. Overall, a great shopping experience and I will definitely be returning.”

“bit of a strange post. I was passing the venue around 7:30pm. I called in the 1 stop shop.to get extra drink. on the way out, a young lad offered his services. being sceptical I said no thanks, but on reflection his services were genuine. The guilt has bothered be all night as I realised the young man had true intentions and iike to reward him.. any help would be appreciated..”

“Standard Asda. Medium sized store, with clothes department and cafe. Decent size car park. Access to the car park car can be busy in the summer if you get caught up with visitors to Barry Island.”

“I went in the other day for some flowers for someone and the florist was absolutely lovely, she spent ages making two bunches of flowers I'd chosen look like a very posh and pretty bouquet for a good friend and was incredibly kind. Thank you, unfortunately I didn't ask your name but will contact the manager to reiterate this!”
