Never have the full prescription in stock. Make you wait for ages (40 mins on one visit) to then tell you to come back the next day for the rest. You go in the next day and they still don't have it all!Took me nearly a week to get my full prescription and multiple trips to the pharmacy.Used to be decent but now it seems like chaos in the place. Go elsewhere if you need your medication promptly!

Pre-Covid this was a welcoming local pharmacy with a visible pharmacist and friendly staff.Since, the standard of service and staff friendliness has sadly declined. Long waits, inaccurate information and a redesign that has left it looking like Fort Knox (full of unpacked boxes). People come to pharmacies to get prescriptions for a reason an occasional smile would help a lot.

What would help is answering the phone. The last 4 months I've had to try collect my prescription as day of delivery after countless calls to you it wasn't there, doctors haven't done it, to last month having to take half my script to your other pharmacy. Now after 40+ calls yesterday was told 'depending on stock' driver confirmed c/ds to find last night 1 c/d missing!! This morning 20+ calls to be told my meds are there but nobody to deliver!! This is not acceptable service as I'm now facing all weekend with my morphine..... It used to be a great service, others including my sons are delivered on time or early.

Went to Evans West Quay pharmacy in today. Ordered my prescription ten days ago. 'allow 72 hours' the app says. "Oh, we haven't made that up, can you come back later, or it will be a 20 minute wait".
The explanation was that they process prescriptions in turn, but that means mine was waiting its turn for at least seven days.
Thing is this happens every time, I can only assume they don't make up prescriptions until people arrive and ask for them as I hear almost everyone being told the same thing.
I realise it's a busy pharmacy, but if they really did spend any slack time making up prescriptions as they are requested then it wouldn't be so chaotic with people collecting prescriptions. I saw an old frail chap told to come back in three hours. How much effort was it for him to come to the pharmacy just once?
This is not a criticism of the staff who are actually very friendly and helpful; it's a criticism of a 'only when we have to' style of management that just puts things off and wastes so much time as most patients end up having to be dealt with twice s they are continually playing catch up.
Having dealt with several pharmacies in Wales prompt preparation does seem to be a problem here. In England at a Lloyds Pharmacy my prescriptions were ordered automatically, all I had to do was turn up on the right day (I got a text reminder automatically) and they would take my prescription off the shelf and give it to me.
