Went into Barry branch to buy diabetic shortbread biscuits for my wife, checked expiry dates all had passed their best before date by almost a month. I've tried three other branches in the last few weeks all had sold out.

They have a good range of items here but it's very understaffed, especially the pharmacy. I had to queue for 30 minutes today to collect a prescription.

I've seen glaciers move faster than the queue for prescriptions, they should really have more staff, one to answer questions/deal with more in depth enquiries and one to just do straightforward tasks, apart from that it's ok.

Lucky if they open at all, let alone at advertised time. Some days it's prescriptions only, so you can't even get over the counter medicines. Absolutely no rhyme or reason to their opening hours. I totally understand staffing issues, but surely if this is the case, they should revise the opening hours temporarily instead of letting people turn up and hope to god they opened. Often see multiple staff inside past the advertised opening hours having a chat but with all the doors locked.

Visited the Pharmacy today, incredibly helpful Pharmacist even though they did not have my medication in stock. Directed me to another Pharmacy. Very polite and helpful. The smile cost nothing. Impressed.

Absolutely appalling experience. I was fourth in queue to pick up important prescription for mother-in-law. Waited nearly an hour to be served. One customer was with the only assistant for twenty-five minutes! When eventually served I was told that the medicine was not in stock but would be in within 24 hours and I would receive a text message. No text message arrived. Tried phoning the number I was given but nobody bothered to answer and eventually received a message saying that store could not answer my call. I really expect better from a national company like Boots. Will avoid like the plague from now on. Management seriously needs to review their customer service policy and it?s implementation.

Queue but staff helpful and polite in some quite difficult situations. Credit to chap o Pharmacy counter didn't stop.
