My mum, Heather, has recently sold her house through Allen and Harris and she was really impressed with the friendly and efficient service they provided. Ria in particular was always there to help my mum through the process and always went that extra mile to help my mum out. She kept her updated with feedback from potential viewers and was always there for any advice my mum needed.

This is the first time I've used Allen and Harris Estate Agents. From the first time I spoke with Ria to the times I have met and dealt with Ria ever since, she has been amazing. Friendly, efficient, quick to get back to me with any information I needed or requested. I have to say Ria has been a pleasure to deal with and she has helped me make the purchase of my property really easy. Ria event set up an appointment to meet the seller of the property which was such a beneficial experience all round. I have to say I would highly recommend using Ria and Allen and Harris to any of my friends and family should they need them. Ria is really personable and has a lovely, friendly manner which is perfect for customer service and dealing face to face in what can be a stressful experience. The team in the Barry office, Ria,in particular have been extremely helpful throughout the sale and purchase of a property. Ria has helped in areas which I am sure are not in her job description , and always acts in a pleasant and professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this Agency .

Absolutely appalling customer service. Booked a viewing last Saturday for next Saturday. Turned up to the house to no one there. Rang them to be told all viewings were cancelled on Thursday and everyone contacted. Sophie on the other hand didn't believe this was the case, so said she would check the call log and ring me back. Surprise, surprise, over two hours later she had to admit no one rang me and that i was not even registered!. I appreciate a staff member was called away today due to an emergency but it's a Saturday, I can't believe there isn't a back up plan. To add insult to injury this house was an auction so time sensitive, and the only day I could do was Thursday. She replied ,oh that's closed diary every Thursday. Shocking, not even an attempt to receive their error and offer me 30mins of their time on a 'busy' Thursday. I will not bother looking at a house with them again or give them the satisfaction of an estate agents fee.

I was a first time seller, selling my new-build property in Barry. This was, by no means, an easy transaction; held up by multiple issues and awful communication and failures of my buyer and her Solicitors. The only saving grace throughout it all was Sophie and her team in Barry; professional, supportive, outstanding knowledge and advice, as well as being some of the kindest, most supportive and understanding professionals I have ever known. Always on hand to help, excellent communication and going well above and beyond what an Estate Agent would usually do for a seller. I cannot recommend them enough. A massive and heartfelt thank you to Sophie and her team for everything :)

We're in the process of buying a property listed at A&H Barry. We're first time buyers and honestly have very little idea of the process. Our solicitors have been silent and no help, but Sophie, Ria and the team have been extremely helpful and reliably responsive to our questions and have guided us through the process. This would have been far more complicated without their input.

I arranged a week in advance with Allan & Harris to have my property valued by Sophie who failed to turn up. No telephone call, text or email was received to cancel beforehand or to apologise afterwards. Very disappointed.
